During a lesson at English Plus the other day, there was a conversation topic about this past golden week.
We talked about what we did during the golden week and one of the English phrases that our students want to know was this...
"the first half of golden week"
"the second half of golden week"
One of the students wanted to make a sentence with these phrases such as "I traveled during the first half of this golden week and I relaxed at home during the second half of the week."
You can use these phrases in daily or business situations, so please try to use them!

本日は“レッスンから学ぶ ～ 週の前半・後半の英語表現”です。
先日の英語学校のレッスンの中で、ゴールデンウィークに関しての話題がありました。
ゴールデンウィークに何をしたかなど、休暇中の話題について話していましたが、話しの中で“ゴールデンウィークの前半・後半を英語で言うととうなるのか？”という質問がありました。
今日は“週の前半・後半”を表現する英語を学んでいきたいと思います。
ゴールデンウィークの週の前半は…"the first half of golden week"
ゴールデンウィークの週の後半は…"the second half of golden week"
これらを使って文章を作ってみますと…"I traveled during the first half of this golden week and I relaxed at home during the second half of the week."のような文章を作ることも可能です。
"golden week"のところを他の表現（例：this month - 今月）に置き換えることも可能です。
日常やビジネスの英会話でも使える英語表現だと思いますので、必要に応じて使ってみましょう！
