英語学校の基本的なルール（規約）の作成

Good morning and I really appreciate your visit to this blog!
Today, I'd like to write about a document that I made yesterday.
The document I made yesterday was about basic school rules, in Japanese "Kiyaku", for my English school.
I made basic rules at the end of August, but after I checked them and realized that they weren't enough, so I corrected them.
(Now I think I can use the school rules when my English school gets started!)
What I need to prepare from now on is still a lot, such as school flyer and homepage.
I'll just spend time more wisely and prepare for my English school to get started!!

昨日、英語学校の基本的なルールを定めた規約の作成をしました。

８月の後半に基本的な規約は作成しましたが、もう一度確認したところ、充分ではないことに気付いたため修正しました。（英語学校スタートの時には、この規約を使っていきたいと思います！）

これから（英語学校スタートまで）フライヤーなど準備するものも、まだまだありますが、時間を有効に使い準備を進めていきたいと思います！

英語学校のカレンダー作成

Good morning and I appreciate your visit!
Today, I'll write about a calendar for my English school.
When I had free time yesterday, I made a yearly calendar for my English school.
I had wanted to make one for a long time, but I didn't have time to do so until yesterday.
I made it from 2011 to 2019 just in case and divided into 4 weeks each month.
So, I could check which day has the most national holidays and when to start school vacation.
There are still a lot of things to take care of, but I'll just do one by one!

本日は“英語学校のカレンダー作成”です。

昨日、少し時間を作り英語学校のための年間カレンダーを作成しました。

長い間、年間カレンダーの構想が自分の頭の中にあり、ずっと作成したかったのですがようやく昨日作ることができました。

せっかくだったので、２０１１年～２０１９年分までの年間カレンダーを作成し、毎月を４週ごとに分けられるかチェックしました。

また“どの曜日が休みが多いか”や“いつ英語学校を休みにするか”などの検討もすることができました。

英語学校スタートに向け、まだまだやるべきことは多いですが、１つ１つ実行していきたいと思います！

英語学校スタートに向けた看板ステッカー貼りの話

Good morning and I appreciate your visit to this blog!
Today, I’d like to write about a sign for my English school today.
Yesterday, with my family’s support, which was two days in a row, I was able to get one of my signs for my English school put up.
It was extremely difficult to put it up because the sign was a strong sticker type.
It wasn't perfectly done like the professional does, but it was okay considering it was put up without the professional’s help.
After getting it put up, I made some furniture such as café tables, café chairs, and so on.
With the furniture, I guess it’s getting to look more like English environment café!
Soon after the furniture for my English school arrives, I will tackle it and take some photos to upload on this blog!

本日は“英語学校スタートに向けた看板ステッカー貼りの話”です。

昨日は、一昨日に引き続き、家族のサポートを借りて英語学校の看板のうちの１つをつけることができました。

看板は強い粘着力のステッカータイプのものだったこともあり、貼るのにとても苦労し、プロのように完璧にはできませんでしたが、素人だけでも何とか貼ることだけはできました。

看板のステッカーを貼った後は、カフェ用のテーブル・椅子など昨日届いた家具を組み立てました。

組み立てた家具を配置すると、少しは英語環境カフェっぽくなってきた感じがします！

他の家具も続々、届く予定なので届き次第、１つ１つ組み立て英語学校スタートに向け準備していきたいと思います！

英語学校スタートに向けた家族の協力と家具の組み立て

Good morning and thank you for checking out this blog!
Today, I'll write about what I did yesterday.
Yesterday, all of my family came to visit my English school for the first time!
After they checked the space, they helped me build some furniture which I bought recently.
Thanks to their help, building some furniture was like a blink of an eye.
I really appreciate their help and it was a great day!
I'll just take a step forward!

昨日、初めて自分の家族が自分の英語学校に来ました。

家族は場所をチェックした後、最近購入した家具が届いていたので、組み立てを手伝ってくれました。

家族の協力のお陰で、家具の組み立ては本当に短時間で済ませることができよかったです。

家族のサポートに感謝することができ、良い一日となりました。

今日も英語学校スタートに向け、一歩ずつ前進していきたいと思います！

英語学校のための家具購入

Good morning and thank you for stopping by!
Today, I’d like to write about my furniture shopping.
Recently especially since last week, I've been to some furniture shops to see and buy some furniture for my English school and English environment café.
My budget for furniture was not unlimited, so I was wondering if I could buy all of the things I needed, but after shopping, I was relieved that it was within my budget!
What I bought was that desks and chairs for classroom use, desks for self-study and comfortable chairs, relaxing chairs for café and so on.
I bought a lot so when they arrive, I’ll have to put some of them together, which might become a day-long job.
Anyway, I’ll try to enjoy every moment for my English school to get started!!

本日は“英語学校のための家具購入”です。

最近、特に先週から今週にかけて、いろいろな家具屋さんを見てきました。

今回は見て回るだけでなく、英語学校及び、英語学校に併設する英語環境カフェの家具を購入しました。

自分の家具購入のための予算も限られているため、必要な物すべてが予算内に納まるかどうか少し心配でしたが、どうにか予算内で済ませることができました。

今回は、英語学校の教室用のデスク＆椅子、英語環境カフェの中の自己学習用の机と椅子、カフェのためのリラックスできる椅子等を購入しました。

たくさん購入したのは良いのですが、商品が届き次第、自分で組み立てる必要がある物もあるので、届いた日は一日仕事になりそうな予感ですが、楽しみながら準備を続けたいと思います！！

渋谷でのこども英語イベントの感想と課題

Good morning and how was your weekend?
Today, I'd like to mention an English event I participated in yesterday.
Every other Sunday, I give a 30-minute English lesson for kids, and yesterday was the day that I gave the lesson at a bookstore - Junkudo in Shibuya.
Five kids, which was the highest number so far, joined the event although the weather wasn't preferable.
(I really appreciate the kids joining in the lesson and I also appreciate the staff at Junkudo for their kind support!)
The lesson was about animals and through the lesson, the kids mastered them completely!
The lesson itself was good, however, at the same I found myself some points to improve in the lesson that I should praise them more with using their names.
I'll do better for the next time!!

本日は“渋谷でのこども英語イベントの感想と課題”です。

現在、隔週の日曜日に渋谷の本屋さん（Junkudo）において、３０分間の子供対象の英語レッスンをさせてもらっており、昨日の日曜日がちょうどレッスンの日でした。

今回で通算３回目のレッスンでしたが、天候があまり良くなかったにも関わらず、過去最大の５名の子供に参加してもらうことができました。
（参加していただいた皆様に感謝すると同時に、いつもサポートしてくださるジュンク堂のスタッフの方々に感謝いたします）

昨日のレッスンは“動物”に関して単語を学ぶレッスンでしたが、いろいろなゲームを通して、子供たちはしっかりと英語をマスターしていました。

レッスンそのもののできは良かったと思いますが、“もっと名前を呼んで褒めてあげる”など、次回に活かすべき課題を見つけることができました。

次回は課題を踏まえ、更に良いレッスンができるように準備したいと思います！！

英語学校スタートに向けた本日の行動予定

Good morning, and how are you enjoying this weekend?
Today, I'd like to write about my plan today.
There are some things I need to do today.
One is a biweekly kids' lesson at Junkudo in Shibuya.
This time, I'm going to give a lesson about animals.
After the lesson, I'm thinking about going to some shops, such as furniture shop to buy things for my English school.
I'll just try what I need to do now for my English school to get started!

レッスン後は、家具屋さんなどのお店へ行き、英語学校で必要な物をいろいろと調達してきたいと考えています。

英語学校スタートに向けたカフェの床のワックスがけの一日

Good morning and thank you for your time to read this blog!
Today, I'd like to write about what I did for my English school to get started yesterday.
After I had some English lessons at cafe in Harajuku yesterday, I went to my English school in Tamachi to wax the floor.
The floor was replaced about 3 days ago and I got a piece of advice from a person who did the floor that the floor needs waxing so it lasts longer.
Therefore, yesterday I tried waxing the floor.
It took about 4 hours to wax the floor.
It's because once I waxed the floor, I had to wait at least 30 minutes for the wax to be dried off and had to wax it again and again.
Anyway, finally, I finished waxing and I'll do what I need to do the next for my English school to get started!

本日は“英語学校スタートに向けたカフェの床のワックスがけの一日”です。

昨日、原宿のカフェでレッスンを終えた後、田町にある自分の英語学校へ行き床のワックスがけをしてきました。

床は３日前に張り替えられたもので、その時、床の工事をしていただいた職人さんから“床を使う前にワックスがけをしておいた方が長持ちする”というアドバイスをいただいていたので、昨日実行しました。

ワックスがけを実行してみると実際、４時間かかりました。

一度ワックスをかけた床は少なくとも３０分乾くのを待って、それから重ね塗りをしたため、計４時間かかってしまいました。

ワックスがけも無事終了しましたので、英語学校スタートに向け、次の課題に取り組んでいきたいと思います！

英語学校スタートに向けてのレッスンの作成＆修正

Good morning.
Thank you for your time to read this blog!
Today, I'd like to write about making & revising English lessons for my English school.
Since I decided to start my own English school, I've made some curricula, such as General Conversation course, Grammar-based English course, Travel English course, Business English course, TOEIC course, Kid's lessons and so on.
I don't know how many lessons I've made so far, but almost all of the lessons are ready!
However, I guess some of them need to be revised, so just in case, when I have time, I recheck these lessons and correct some parts.
While I'm getting my school's interior decorated, I'm making and revising English lessons for English school!

英語学校を自分で立ち上げてみようと本格的に思い始めてから、一般日常会話コース・文法をベースとした基礎力アップコース・旅行用英会話コース・ビジネス英語コース・TOEICテスト対策コース・小学校用英語＆英会話コースなどのカリキュラムを作成してきました。

いくつレッスンプランを作成したかは定かではありませんが、ほとんどのレッスンはいつでも提供することが可能な状況です。

が、レッスンプランは改良する点もあるので、現在、英語学校準備期間中に時間がある時には修正をしています。

英語学校の内装工事をしている間に、しっかりと英語学校で提供するレッスンも準備していきたいと思います！！

ビジネスでも使える相手を勇気づけるひとこと英語

Good morning and I appreciate your visit!
Today, let's learn some useful phrases that can be used in business situations.
When we work, a lot of things happen.
Some are happy occassion, some are disappointing and today, let’s learn how to encourage a co-worker who is disappointed.
Now, please think about the following question:
“When you find your co-worker is depressed, what do you say?”
There must be a lot of ways to say the co-worker.
For example…
・What’s the matter?
・What’s wrong?
After the co-worker responds to your question, you can encourage with…
・Don’t worry.
・Don’t worry too much.
・Everything will be alright.
・I know how you feel.
・I know you can do it.
There are a lot of other ways to say, so find one suitable in your situation!

本日は“ビジネスでも使える相手を勇気づけるひとこと英語”です。

普段仕事をしていますと、いろいろなことが起こると思います。

時として嬉しい出来事であったり、がっかりすることであったりしますが、
今日は落ち込んでいる同僚を勇気づけるひとこと英語を学んでいきたいと思います。

さて、ここでクイズです。

“もし、あなたが落ち込んでいる同僚を見かけた場合、どのように英語で声をかけますか？”

いろいろと表現はありますが例えば・・・

・What’s the matter? （どうかしましたか？）

・What’s wrong? （どうかしましたか？）

というような質問ができます。
上記の質問に同僚が答えた後、以下の勇気付けるひとことが続けられます・・・

・Don’t worry.（心配しないで）

・Don’t worry too much. （心配しすぎないで）

・Everything will be alright.（全てうまくいきますよ）

・I know how you feel.（あなたのお気持ちはわかります）

・I know you can do it.（あなたならできます）

他にもシチュエーションによっていろいろな英語表現がありますので、状況に応じた表現を使えるようにしましょう！
