Today, let's practice English.
At English Plus, we encourage our students to try to speak English especially during lessons.
Once in a while, they make some mistakes, but they really try hard and try to express what they want to say in their own words. (Great Job!)
Through lessons at English Plus, I realized there are some mistakes our students often make, so today let's review not to make the same mistake again.

新形式TOEICテスト公式問題集（リーディングセクション）に取り組んだ英語講師の感想（日本語編）

おはようございます。English Plus英語講師のarataです。

本日は“新形式TOEICテスト公式問題集（リーディングセクション）に取り組んだ英語講師の感想（日本語編）”です。

先月（４月１０日）は、第２０９回TOEIC公開テストでしたが、この回は現在のスタイルで行われる最後のテストの回だったこともあり、いつもより多くのEnglish Plusレッスン受講生も受験したようです。（受験された皆様、お疲れ様でした。）

今月行われる第２１０回TOEIC公開テスト（５月２９日）より、新形式の問題に変更になります。

今回の変更に伴い、ETS（TOEICテストの作成機関）がTOEICテスト公式問題集（新形式問題対応）を発売しましたが、English Plusでも早速、手に入れ個人的に挑戦してみました。

最初に挑戦したリーディングセクションの感想としましては、確実に「読む」ボリュームが増えていると感じました。

「読む量」が増えているので「読むスピード」および「しっかりと読む英語力」をアップする必要性があります。

一夜漬けでどうにかなるテストではありませんので、毎日の英語学習がとても重要になってきます。

特にTOEICスコアが必要な方は「毎日英語を読む」ことが大事です。

可能であれば、黙読だけでなく音読も取り入れたトレーニングを行いましょう。

English Plusでは、レッスンのない日にも自己学習ができる自習スペースがあります。

洋書等も置いてありますので、読むトレーニングも習慣化して英語力アップおよびTOEICスコアアップを目指しましょう！

新形式TOEICテスト公式問題集（リーディングセクション）に取り組んだ英語講師の感想（英語編）

Good morning and thank you for checking out English Plus blog!
Today, I'd like to write about my opinion about the new TOEIC test.
April 10th, it was the official TOEIC testing day, and it was actually the last time we were able to take the current TOEIC test.
Some of our students took the last TOEIC test. (Good Job!)
From the next TOEIC test, May 29th 2016, the new form (of the TOEIC test) is going to start.
ETS (Educational Testing Service) started providing the official TOEIC practice test about two months ago, and I've personally tried it.
From my point of view as an English instructor about Reading Section, the reading part has more volumes than the previous one.
So it means not only do we read a little faster, but also we need to read more accurately.
To get a higher score in the new TOEIC test, I recommend you read English every day.
Also, if you have time, please try reading-out-loud training too.
I guess these two will help you improve your TOEIC score.
Let's try to make reading English our daily habit.
At English Plus, there is a self-study space available for our students, and they can read English.
If you are a student at English Plus, you're always welcome to use self-study space.

本日は“English Plus（英語学校）2016年5月のアクティビティ ～ Talking Clubの紹介（日本語編）”です。

English Plus（英語学校）では、レッスン受講生のためのアクティビティ（イベント）を毎月行っています。

今日は今月のアクティビティ“Talking Club”を紹介したいと思います。

このTalking Clubでは、レッスン以外にもレッスン受講生に「もっと英語でコミュニケーションを図ってほしい」という思いから始めたアクティビティです。

Talking Clubは通常、English Plus内での開催をしていますが、今月はEnglish Plus外での開催を予定しています。

今月は「英語力アップ＋健康増進」もかねて「英語で話しながらウォーキング」をする予定です。

日次等の詳細やご興味のあるレッスン受講生はEnglish Plus受付でお尋ねください。

English Plus（英語学校）2016年5月のアクティビティ ～ Talking Clubの紹介（英語編）

Good morning and thank you very much for stopping by English Plus blog!
Today, I'd like to introduce English Plus' school activity for this month.
We hold some school activities every month.
In May, we're planning to hold an activity "Talking Club."
The main purpose of this "Talking Club" is that we would like our students to have more opportunities to speak English and communicate in English outside the classroom.
We sometimes hold Talking Club inside English Plus, but this time we're planning to hold it outside English Plus.
In May, the weather is usually good and it's nice to walk outside, so we're going to "take a walk" and "talk in English."
It's "Talking Club", but also "Walking Club." (We held this Walking Club last year, so this is going to be our 2nd time.)
If you are a student at English Plus and interested in this event, you are always welcome to join us!
Let's enjoy English communication more and improve English skills more at English Plus!

おはようございます。English Plus英語講師のarataです。

本日は“English Plus Cafeから５月１７日以降の平日営業時間変更のお知らせ（日本語編）”です。

English Plus Cafeは英語学校スペースの隣にある小さなカフェです。

現在、平日は１０時～２０時までオープン、土曜日は１０時～１６時までオープンしていますが、５月１７日以降、平日（火～金）の営業時間に変更があります。

５月１７日以降、平日（火～金）はCafeのオープン時間を１０時～１７時までとさせていただきます。（土曜日のオープン時間に変更はございません）

English Plus Cafeに関するご質問・お問合せはEnglish Plusの公式ホームページからお問合せください。

なお現在、English Plus Cafeでのランチをお休みさせていただいております。

English Plus Cafeから５月１７日以降の平日営業時間変更のお知らせ（英語編）

Good morning and thank you very much for your time to read English Plus blog!
Today, I'd like to announce the change of English Plus Cafe's opening hours.
English Plus Cafe is a small cafe next to our English school.
Currently, English Plus Cafe is open from 10 to 20 on weekdays (Tuesdays-Fridays) and 10 to 16 on Saturdays.
After May 17th, we have some changes about opening hours on weekdays.
We're going to be open from 10 to 17 between Tuesdays and Fridays. (On Saturdays, no change.)
If you have questions, please ask us from English Plus Official Website.
We're waiting for your visit!
P.S. Now, our lunch service is temporarily off. However, once we decide to restart, we'll announce on this blog, English Plus Official Website, and English Plus Facebook page.

おはようございます。English Plus英語講師のarataです。

本日は“英語レッスン受講中の方への英語力アップ５つのアドバイス ～ その４（日本語編）”です。

今日は「英語レッスン受講中の方への英語力アップ５つのアドバイス」の内、その４として英語力アップのためのアドバイスを書いていきたいと思います。

これまでのアドバイスとして「一度、忘れたことはその後、何回も何回もマスターするまで繰り返し復習すること。そのために復習ができる教材を持ち歩くこと。復習のための時間を見つけること」を書きました。

復習は「一度学習したことを使える知識として定着させるための見直し学習」ですので、「使える英語力習得」のための繰り返しの復習はとても大事です。

また、学習したことは時間の経過と共に忘れてしまってはもったいないので、レッスン後は早めの復習をおすすめします。

ただ、「復習や自己学習がなかなかできなくて…」という方もいるかもしれません。

そのような方に、英語講師として伝えたいアドバイスは「毎日の英語学習を確実に習慣化する」ことです。

習慣化のための方法としましては「５分でも１０分でも、通勤時間なら通勤時間帯を復習の時間と決め、毎日継続すること」です。

家でゆっくりと復習ができない方は、カフェなどを利用することもおすすめです。

継続的に実行することで着実に「基礎英語力」になっていきます。

忙しい日もあると思いますが、英語力習得のためにがんばりましょう。

Good morning and thanks a lot to visit English Plus blog!
Today, I'd like to write about a piece of advice for English learners who are taking lessons.
As I wrote three tips in this blog, "we should carry some materials so that when we have time, we can review again and again until we master it."
Reviewing after each lesson is very important to fully understand what we've learned and to use the knowledge.
As time passes, it's easy to forget what we've learned, so I recommend we do reviewing as early as possible after each lesson.
However, I understand that some people might say "I can't review or do any self-study..."
In this case, a piece of advice I'd like to give is "make review or self-study your daily routine."
If you have time, such as on the train to work, you should decide it's time to review.
If you do this review training every day even 5 minutes or so, it'll help you improve your basic English skills!
If you can't do self-study at home, you can go to a cafe or somewhere you can concentrate.
I know you must be busy every day, but let's try English training every day for your English skills!
