山手線散歩の続きで今度は目白・池袋・大塚・巣鴨を探検しました。
三時間かけて一万二千歩、主に住宅地ですね。
目白のちょっと落ち着いた高級感を対象に池袋と大塚のいかがわしさ、
面白いですね～
巣鴨で宮下橋のやきとり屋台、一本80円の安さ。レバ美味いね～
おじいちゃんが焼き、可愛い女性がレジ担当。孫なのかな？
今のところ４回の散歩で新宿経由で巣鴨～有楽町を歩きました。
今度は巣鴨から始めよう！
Continuing my Yamanote line walk, I explored Mejiro-Ikebukuro-Otsuka-Sugamo.
The three hour and 12,000 steps lead me mainly through residential tracks.
Very interesting with the contrast of the old but upscale Mejiro
to the raunchy Ikebukuro & Otsuka neighborhoods.
The highlight was a little yakitoristand near Sugamo with one skewer only about 75 cents.
While an old man manned the grill, a gorgeous young girl handled the register (his granddaughter?).
With four walking trips, I covered the Yamanote line from Sugamo to Yurakucho via Shinjuku.
Next, I believe I will pick it up from Sugamo!
