Xiaomi has today announced that its popular Redmi 4 and Redmi Note 4 smartphones will now be available for sale at Big Bazaar stores. The Chinese company has partnered with BigBazaar which has 240+ stores in India for selling both the iphone 6 plus screen during this festive season.
Manu Kumar Jain, Vice President and Managing Director of Xiaomi India has also said that the partnership was planned a few months back when he met first Kishore Biyani, CEO of Future Group via his official twitter handle. He tweeted a picture of his meeting with Kishore Biyani, Founder and Group CEO of Future Group that owns Big Bazaar as well in July this year.
Further in his tweet, he said that no other brand has ever sold phones at a supermarket chain till now. Interested customers can buy the Xiaomi smartphones at special prices at BigBazaar stores with no cost EMI offers and offers on all ICICI Bank cards.
Recently, the company was in headlines when it claimed that it has sold over 10 million Xiaomi smartphone in September globally, and over 25 million phones in India in 3 years. Earlier, Xiaomi’s most popular budget offering, the Redmi Note 4, crossed the milestone of 5 million units within six months of launch and data includes from January 23 to July 23, 2017.
Redmi Note 4 comes in three variants – 2GB + 32GB, 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB, which are priced at Rs 9,999, Rs 10,999 and Rs 12,999 respectively. As far as specifications of the Redmi Note 4 are concerned, it comes with a 5.5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080) 2.5D curved glass display and a 2.0 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. The hybrid dual SIM smartphone runs on Android Nougat operating and has a 4100 mAh battery. In terms of design, the smartphone features a fingerprint scanner at the back.
The smartphone offers a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture and a 5-megapixel front camera. On the connectivity front, the device offers 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), GPS with AGS/GLONASS and USB Type C.
The Redmi 4 comes in three different variants, the 2GB RAM with 16GB of internal storage is priced at Rs 6,999, the 3GB of RAM along with 32GB of internal storage cost Rs 8,999, while for 4GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage one has to pay Rs 10,999. The iphone 6 plus screen repair comes in Glod and Balck colour options.
As far as specifications Redmi 4 are concerned, it has a metal unibody design and comes with a 5-inch HD 2.5D curved display with the resolution of 720x1280 pixels. On the inside, the Redmi 4 comes equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 chipset with the clock speed of 1.4GHz, along with Adreno 505 GPU. It has 2GB/3GB/4GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB/64GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD. The device also comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for enhanced security.
For the camera, Xiaomi Redmi 4 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, PDAF, f/2.0, a 5 element lens, full HD recording, with real-time filter and on its front, it has a 5-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 for selfies and video chats. Further, the device offers Hybrid Dual SIM (1 Micro+1 Nano) 4G, GPS/AGPS/GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi, a MicroUSB port, App lock feature and Second space feature which let you create separate, private profile within your phone.
