高中正義さんのアルバム”虹伝説”より「Plumed Bird」
聴き直していたら気になる響きがあったので考察してみる
When I listened again, I found a sound that caught my attention

Dmaj7-Gmaj7、、Gmaj7にいく前に聴き慣れない和音に気がつく
昔は気がつかなかった
It was an unfamiliar chord
I didn't realize it in the past
耳コピで音を拾ってみるとどうやら「D7(9)」のようだった
Apparently it was like "D7 (9)" when I picked up the sound with an ear copy
Gmaj7に進むのでDmaj7をD7にしてドミナントモーション、ということだろうか
Since it goes to Gmaj7, is it a dominant motion by changing Dmaj7 to D7?
さらによく聴くとA#音が聴こえた
When I listened more closely, I heard the A# sound.
ギターだと1弦6フレットのその音を加えることによって1弦5-6-7フレットというクリシェも成立する
その場合7弦1フレットをトップに持つGmaj7のカタチで押さえるとクリシェを感じられて心地よい
A semitone progression is created on the first string, so you can create a beautiful melody line!
（動画ではそのように弾かなかった、、弾いとけばよかったと後悔・・）

その和音はコードネームにするとD9(-13)になる
That chord is codenamed D9(-13)
そしてこれはベース音をA♭ととるとA♭7(9,-13)とも解釈できる
This can be interpreted as A♭7(9,-13) if the bass note is A♭.
A♭とDは代用コードの位置関係なので同じ？と捉えて問題ないだろう、、
Are A♭ and D the same because of the positional relationship between the substitute chords? there is no problem in interpreting
その後Gにいくので半音上からのアプローチととらえれば表記はDではなくA♭のほうがよいのだろうか？
Considering that it goes to G after that, is it possible to interpret it as "semitone progression" by notating A♭ instead of D?
・・など、考察は続いてきりがない
・・・Various things cross my mind, and the consideration never ends 、、
どちらにせよ、もし自分だったら「Dmaj7-Gmaj7」で済ませていただろうな・・
If it was me, I wouldn't have thought of that tension chord...

ギターソロラストの部分、３連の速いフレーズのアタマ
スタジオ盤とライブ盤で違っている
The guitar solo last part is different between the studio version and the live version⇩
この速さで弾くとスタジオ盤だと2弦14フレットからの
コードスケール（高中さんの曲によく出てくるこのカタチ）にいくのに
距離があって（タイミングにこだわると）微妙に間に合わない
ご本人もそう思って？かどうかはわからないが
ライブでは「近い」場所になっている
・・と、そんな考察
It seems that the position is being considered due to the problem of moving distance

⇧-A-だと距離がありすぎるのでせめて少しでも距離を縮めたポジション
If it's A-, it's too far away, so at least a position that shortens the distance a little.
