【ギター考察/consideration】高中正義「READY TO FLY」後半ソロ～”ここの運指”をどうするか？(guitar solo fingering)

高中正義「Super Live」の「READY TO FLY」を弾いていてふと思ったこと、、

While playing "READY TO FLY" from Masayoshi Takanaka's "Super Live", I suddenly thought

 

後半のギターソロの前半あたりのこのフレーズ

16分音符をどちらのポジションで弾こうか迷ったときのこと、

I was at a loss how to play this 16th note phrase

ここでもう少し考察してみた、、

I thought a little more here.

 

まずこの箇所で分かっていることはコード進行が「F#m7-Am7-B7」ということ

First of all, what we know at this point is that the chord progression is "F#m7-Am7-B7"

 

となると《Ex.2》の方がコードの場所に近い！

Then <> is closer to the location of the code

 

、、そこで気になったことが１つ

One thing that caught my attention

 

２小節目のコードは「Am7-B7」である

そして「基本、メロディはコードトーンに沿っている」からすると

２拍目の3弦8フレットが気になった

The second bar  is "Am7-B7"

And from "Basically, the melody follows the chord tone"

I was interested in the 3rd string 8th fret on the 2nd beat

なので「スタジオ盤」と別のライブ・ヴァージョンとして「神戸ライブ」を聴いてみると

下の譜例のように弾いていた

（3弦7フレットになっている）

So I listened to another live version

he was playing the 3rd string 7th fret

さてさて、興味深くなってきた(笑)

Okay, now it's getting interesting

 

考察好きの自分としては「どちらが本当か？」になってくる

As someone who likes to think, it becomes "Which is true?"

 

ここでいう「ホントはどっち？」というのは

「ご本人は元々どっちを考えていたのか？」

Which one was he originally thinking of?

 

「最初はどちらで作曲されたのか？」

Which pattern was originally composed?

 

・・ということで、そんなことが私にとっては”どうでもいいこと”ではなく

とても興味を持つポイントなのであった、、🐈

That kind of "trivial thing" is an interesting point for me.

 

ただこれの答えはシンプルで、スタジオ盤と別のライブで《Ex.4》のように弾いているのであれば

But the answer is...

He played like "ex.4" in "studio version, another live version"

 

そして小節を見れば２コ目の音はAm7に属しているのだから「7フレット」が正解で

Looking at the bar, the second note belongs to Am7, so I think "7th fret" is the correct answer.

 

”Super Live”の時は（ライブということもあって）思わず8フレットにいってしまった、と考えられる、、

(At the time of Super Live) It is also possible that I accidentally went up to the 8th fret because it was a live performance (because I was sliding with my middle finger).

話を戻して、、「1~4フレットポジションで弾いていた？」の根拠として動画でご本人が ↓

このポジションで弾いていた（であろう）ものを見たことがあり

Back to the topic, as a basis for "Did you play at the 1st to 4th fret positions?"

I've seen videos of him playing like this,

 

ただそれは正確には後ろ向きだったのだが「1~4フレットのポジション」と「4~7フレットのポジション」では

手首の位置が違うのと、

そのときはっきりと3弦4フレットから5フレットのタイミングで手全体がスライド移動していたので

but that was the back view

But the position of the wrist was low, so I thought it was "1 to 4 positions"

And the whole hand was clearly sliding at the timing of the 3rd string 4th fret to 5th fret.

 

そうなると「小指で3弦4フレットから5フレットへスライド」しているのであれば逆説的に ↓ このポジションは

ありえない、、という推理になった

If so, paradoxically ↓ this position is impossible

※ちなみに3弦での運指は/By the way, the fingering on the 3rd string is..

 

3弦/strings-4フレット/fret・・小指(4)

3弦/strings-5フレット/fret・・小指(4)

3弦/strings-7フレット/fret・・中指(2)

3弦/strings-8フレット/fret・・中指(2)

 

・・と思われる。

【後記/P.S.】

まぁ、そうはいってもこのようなことは「演奏場所、時期、時代」によって変わってくるものでもあり

こういった他人の推測も実際は全くかけはなれていたり、ささいな勘違いがあったりと

・・時間をかけて紐解いてみても後々けっこうあてにならなかったりするものだ

 

あくまで自身がもやもやしていた点をスッキリさせたいがための現時点での考察～見解であり

とりあえず今はこれによって”自分がどのポジションで弾けば納得できるか？”

がある程度定まってくれたら、

It is a consideration and opinion at the present time because I want to clear up the points that I was confused about.

For now, I'm asking myself, "What position should I play to convince myself?"

私にとって、音楽とギターとは

 

「探偵小説の謎解き、宝探しの地図飛び、考古学の発掘」

 

のようなもの

 

To me, music and the guitar are like "mystery-solving in detective stories, map-hopping in treasure hunts, and excavating in archeology."

At a later date, I found a performance video of "Ex.4" from a front angle.

2024.2の時点、ここの弾き方、、

 

2小節目の5/3を小指

7/3を中指

8/3を中指

7/2,7/1を人差し指
