Rest In Peace, Les, Ian and Alan! What wonderful memories you have given all of us who “suffer” from Rollermania!!! And now, at 62, have the opportunity to SING one of my most favorite songs of yours “I Only Wanna Be With You” on stage with our DooWoo group! I played your version of this but by Dusty Springfield and the guys liked YOUR version better and asked ME to take the lead on it! I’m so proud, to this day, to be a “Roller” fan! My heart sank when I heard Les had pasted away! I have such happy memories from my youth, with my best friend Laura. We loved the Bay City Rollers! We were lucky enough to see them at the Wisconsin State fair back in the day!! All my kids and good friends know they are big part of my past too! If you ask anyone who knows me well who my all time favorite band is, their reply will be the Bay City Rollers!! As luck would have it, I was also born in Bay City Michigan, so that makes it extra fun for me!

このLPレコード毎日聴いてた。
歌詞を覚えて、
黄色のタータンチェックの布にＷＯＯＤＹとアップリケしてコンサート行ったなー。一緒に行った友達はレスリーのファンだった。
昨年の夏、何十年も持っていた切り抜きとかバッヂとかコンサートの時の品々とか、思い切って全部整理したばかりだったよ。
歌ってた彼らも聴いていた私たちもみんな年齢重ねて、ここを見つけて久しぶりに耳を傾けてると思うとみんな友達のような気になる。
青春時代の懐かしい思い出だもんね。

I am not a fan of these re-recordings. Not as good as the originals-too many differences and they seem to be computerized, which always takes the soul out of a song. But, I imagine that they got paid for this recording, unlike the original recordings.

懐かしい…
このLPレコード毎日聴いてた。
歌詞を覚えて、
黄色のタータンチェックの布にＷＯＯＤＹとアップリケしてコンサート行ったなー。一緒に行った友達はレスリーのファンだった。
昨年の夏、何十年も持っていた切り抜きとかバッヂとかコンサートの時の品々とか、思い切って全部整理したばかりだったよ。
歌ってた彼らも聴いていた私たちもみんな年齢重ねて、ここを見つけて久しぶりに耳を傾けてると思うとみんな友達のような気になる。
青春時代の懐かしい思い出だもんね。

I am not a fan of these re-recordings. Not as good as the originals-too many differences and they seem to be computerized, which always takes the soul out of a song. But, I imagine that they got paid for this recording, unlike the original recordings.
