ＮＥＣ、日本基準で決算発表へ

ＮＥＣが、米国基準による前期（２００６年３月期）の決算の監査が終了しないため、２００６年９月中間期の決算から日本基準に戻すという記事。

製品の売上と保守サービスの売上の区分をどうするかでもめているようです。

米国基準だと前期の決算が半年たっても固まらないのに、日本基準だとすぐに決算ができてしまうというのは、それだけ日本基準が企業に優しい基準なのでしょう。

Now NEC, the electronics group, is under investigation by the US Securities and Exchange Commission after delaying filing its annual report.

ただし、大きなスキャンダルにはならないだろうといっています。

The main reason for the delay is hardly the stuff of big ticket scandals.NEC is in effect restating the treatment of revenues from maintenance contracts provided alongside other IT products and services.
