戸隠スキー場と戸隠神社 Togakushi Ski Field & Togakushi Shrine

戸隠スキー場　 Togakushi Ski Field

戸隠スキー場で、高校同級生を中心とした平均年齢約75歳のグループのスキー合宿（？）に合流させてもらいました。
卒業して約60年、高校の同級生でスキーに来られるなんて、なんて素晴らしいのでしょう～
スキーをしている姿も超カッコよく、最高にテンション上がりました
そんなわけで、ちょっとビデオを撮らせていただきユーチューブにアップしたので、是非ご堪能ください！

I joined the group of men, who are about 75 years old, and enjoyed skiing at Togakushi Ski Field.
To my astonishment, most of them graduated from the same high school about 60 years ago and enjoy skiing several times a year even now.
Their technique was so nice that they looked so cool when they were skiing!!
I recorded their performances on the videos and uploaded them.  Please check out my newest upload!

翌朝～～～(2月27日）

雪が少ない今シーズンでしたが、夜から朝にかけて降りました。一晩で20㎝ほどは積もったでしょうか
そんなわけで（？）戸隠中社と奥社に行ってみることにしました。

On the next morning, Feb 27,

It snowed a lot (about 20cm?) during the night even thought it was said that it snowed less than usual.
I decided to go and see the Togakushi shrines called Chu-sha (Middle Shrine) and Oku-sha (Upper  Shrine).

奥社は入り口から約2㎞にあり、この随神門からこの杉並木の奥、さらに1kmほど登ったところにあります。
この日は、周りに雪崩の怖れがあり、残念ながら、登ることはできませんでした。まあ、夏に一度登ったことがあるので、良いのですが…
さらにこの後、かなり雪が降ってきたので、行っていたら大変であったと思いますが…

でも、美しい雪景色の山門の写真が撮れて、大満足でした

Oku-sha (Upper Shrine) stands about 2km from the entrance and it is necessary to go up along this cidar-lined approach about 1km more to reach from this Zuijin-mon Gate.
Unfortunately it could occar snow slide on that day, so I couldn't reach Oku-sha. 
To tell the truth, as I have even been to Oku-sha once in summer, I didn't care so much. Moreover it started snowing harder.  I might be rather lucky giving up climbing there.

Anyway I was really happy to take some pictures of the shrine gate and cidar-lined approach covered with snow!
