HOLIDAYMAKERS heading to Ibiza to lounge on white sand beaches are being met with heaps of "stinking" algae that is rotting in the sun.
Fomento del Turismo says the thousands of tourists arriving on the island are being met with a "disgraceful mess".
The Ibiza Tourism Development group, which has more than 300 members, including hoteliers and private investors, has directed its anger at the beaches within the capital of Ibiza where holiday brochures single out the "white sand beaches" as one of the main attractions.
One of the most famous is Platja d'en Bossa, the longest stretch of beach on the island and lined with bars and restaurants.
Holiday websites show people strolling along its shore, with pristine clear water and white clean sand.
But the group has posted its own picture of the beach, taken on Monday, showing a very contrasting picture.
It looks entirely different with algae very obvious in the water and heaps of it on the mucky sand. Tourist sunbeds are set well back and the only sunbathers taking a stroll are picking out a path between the seaweed and scum.
This is not the first time that sunseekers have been met with disgusting scenes in the holiday hotspot.
In October last year, the streets of Ibiza were filled with poo, dead rats and sanitary towels after huge storms flooded the sewage system.
A spokesman said they had pressed continuously for something to be done, particularly to remove the dead posidonia or sea plants as soon as possible.
"This would return our beaches to their usual splendour, clean and attractive," he said.
The industry leaders, who include representatives of airlines, travel agencies, cafeterias, bars, restaurants, shipping companies, industry and commerce, say Ibiza town is being singled out because beaches elsewhere on the island are kept in perfect condition.

一昨年はダウングレード
帰国後返金していただきましたが非常に手続きは面倒です（泣き寝入り狙い？）
どんなダウングレードかというと
明らかに小さい車になってしまったのです

行列に並び直すのは時間がもったいない
無理やり詰め込み出発〜
３人以上なら無理でしたね
でも５００は可愛くて良い車でした
車に罪はない
有名予約サイトでANAマイルも貯まるので
一括検索して予約しましたがまたです。。。
解決するかわかりませんが
結果が出てから書きたいと思います
一昨年懲りて
昨年は直接予約したのでトラブルなし
面倒なことになるなら
予約サイトは通さないほうがいい！！！

海はイタリア！！サル島の素晴らしさを再確認
物価はスペイン！特にビールが安っ
イタリア人多すぎイタリアにいるのと変わんない
もちろんイタ語はどこでも通じます〜何も困らない
必死のスペ語もついイタ語が混じり、、笑顔でイタ語で返されます
3泊は良いホテルで残り5泊は安宿〜♪
