Chinese Blue Printed Fabric

Hello, this is the kimono remake and kimono reform service in Yokohama Aobadai.『gallery/rurimon』

I made a tissue box cover using Chinese traditional indigo-dyed fabric called "Zhongguolanyin Huabu" (Chinese Blue Print Fabric).
The fabric has good thickness and stiffness, with patterns created through stencil-dyed indigo techniques. In the past, this fabric was often used for making clothes, though it was slightly heavy for wearing as garments.
Now, I use it for interior decoration items like tablecloths, tissue box covers, bed covers, and cushion covers.

中国の伝統の藍染め布「中国藍印花布」

こんにちは、横浜青葉台の着物リメイク・着物リフォームの『ギャラリー瑠璃門／るりもん』です！

中国の伝統技術で染められる藍染め「中国藍印花布ちゅうごくらんいんかふ」を使ってティッシュボックスカバーを作りました。
厚みと腰がしっかりしている布で、柄は型染めの藍染め。昔はこの布でよく洋服を作りましたが、洋服で着るには若干重い布でした。
今はインテリア・・・テーブルクロスやティッシュボックスカバーやベッドカバー、クッションカバーなどにしています。
