I created a reversible hat using the leftover fabric from a reversible coat I previously made. It was just enough fabric to make one hat. This is an original Rurimon design.
Since both the coat and the hat are reversible, you can enjoy them in 6 different ways.
After making items like coats, you often have leftover fabric that's not quite enough for another full piece... We welcome your consultations and orders.
No matter how small the piece, fabric that's been handcrafted - you wouldn't want to throw it away, would you?

コートの残布でリバーシブル帽子

こんにちは、横浜青葉台の着物リメイク・着物リフォームの『ギャラリー瑠璃門／るりもん』です！

以前お作りしたリバーシブルコートの残布でリバーシブル帽子をお作りしました。ちょうど、帽子一枚分の残布。瑠璃門オリジナルデザインです。
コートも帽子もリバーシブルなので、６wayでお楽しみ頂けますね。
コートなどを仕立てた後の残布。あと一着できるほどはないし・・・ということも度々。ご相談、ご注文お受けいたします。
どんなに小さなかけらでも、手仕事の布。捨てたくはないですよね。

Remake a blouse from hand-woven Tsumugi kimono fabric

I received a hand-woven Tsumugi kimono fabric and remade it into a lined blouse.
With a sample blouse of the same design and size, it took some time but the tailoring proceeded smoothly.
I was meticulous about the details as always - pattern matching and buttonholes with piped edges - and a lovely blouse jacket was completed!
I heard you have a gathering in January, so I'm really glad it was finished in time!

手織り紬の着物地からブラウスをリメイク

こんにちは、横浜青葉台の着物リメイク・着物リフォームの『ギャラリー瑠璃門／るりもん』です！

手織りの紬着物地をお預かりして裏付きブラウスをリメイクしました。
サンプルのブラウスがあり、同デザイン・同サイズということでお時間はいただきましたがスムーズにお仕立てすすみました。
柄合わせ・ボタンホールは玉縁、などいつものこだわるところは徹底的にこだわって。素敵なブラウスジャケットが仕上がりました！
年明け一月にお集まりがあるそうで、間に合って本当に良かった！

Remake a coat from hand-woven kimono fabric

I remade a coat from a hand-woven kimono fabric with an orange pattern. This time, the client loved the Rurikon original design, and the sample coat fit perfectly, so I only needed to adjust the sleeve length. I cut and sewed the coat in one go without a preliminary fitting, carefully matching the pattern with precision. I finished the buttonholes with a piped edge. This kimono fabric coat is versatile and can be worn during three seasons except for the height of summer. Of course, since it's silk, it's light and warm. I'm looking forward to delivering this piece.

手織りの着物地からコートをリメイク

こんにちは、横浜青葉台の着物リメイク・着物リフォームの『ギャラリー瑠璃門／るりもん』です！

オレンジの柄が入った手織りの着物地からコートをリメイクしました。
今回は瑠璃門オリジナルデザインをお気に入っていただき、サイズもサンプルコートがぴったりだったので、袖丈のみの変更で仮縫い無しの一発裁断＆縫製です。柄合わせは念をいれて丁寧に。ボタンホールも玉縁で仕上げました。
着物地のコートは、真夏以外スリーシーズンお召し頂けるのでとても重宝です。
もちろん絹ですので、軽くて暖かい一着。お渡しできるのが楽しみです。
