日本のお祭りも祝おうよ

おととい
「むしろ、義理チョコ欲しい」とつぶやいた
そうしたら、私のつぶやきなど見てもいない人が
昨日、綺麗な箱入りのチョコレートを下さった
願いは24時間以内に叶ったよ

ありがとう




真剣にキリスト教じゃなくても
クリスマスやヴァレンタインを祝ったり
プレゼントすることを楽しんだりするのは
現代人はみな
何か楽しいことでつながりたいと
思っているからじゃないかな


節分、桃の節句、花祭り（釈迦誕生日）、端午の節句
色んな日本のイベントも祝おうよ！


てなわけで
私からのプレゼント
心がイガイガしている人は
これを見て、なごんでください





The day before yesterday
I tweeted on Twitter
"I'd rather have a "Giri Chocolate"
It is a chocolate given out of a sense of obligation.

Yesterday, someone who didn't read my tweet
gave a very pretty box of chocolate yesterday.
！Wow！
My wish came true in 24 hours.
Thank you.

Many Japanese celebrate Christmas and Valentine's day
even though they are not Christians.
They enjoy exchanging nice words and gifts to each other.

I guess people today always look for something
by which they can make sure
they are connected with someone else.
I understand their feelings.

So why don't we celebrate Setsubun, Girls' Day,
Flower Festival (Buddha's birthday), Boys' Day
and many other Japanese festivals too?

起きて、パソコン立ち上げて、いつものようにしてたら
匕様の敗戦を結果から先に知ってしまった
21世紀だ、しかたない
ブラジルで起きたことでも
５分後には日本に届いてる
そういう時代に生きている


そして、映像も見た
試合後、匕様自身が、引退を匂わす様なことを言ったから
試合内容や、対戦相手のアントニオ・シウバを讃えるよりも

みんな、匕様が年老いた伝説の人みたいに話してる
ヒョードルがこうで、ヒョードルがああで。。





そう言えば、昔、道頓堀の居酒屋でバイトしてた時
年配の男性２人のお客様が
「オードリーヘプバーンは昔あんなに綺麗だったのに
　年とって、夢が壊れた」
みたいな話をしていたことがある

その話を聞いていてオードリーが気の毒だと思った
だって、そのお２人も、当時２０歳だった私から見たら
充分おじいちゃんで
まるでオードリーだけが年とって
綺麗じゃなくなったみたいに話すから

なんか、みんながヒョードルのことを
話しているのを読んでるうちに
その時のことを想い出した





私は、匕様のファンです
今みたいに総合格闘技が好きになった理由の１つです
彼がどういう道を選ぼうとも
尊重して受け入れます
引退するべき、とか、そうじゃないとか
決めるのは彼ですから


そして、シウバはおめでとう！


たった二回負けただけで
あれこれみんな言う
それ自体がもうすごいこと
１番すごいファイターだってことだよ





Woke up in the morning, turned on the PC
I started another day following the same old routine
Then I happened to know the result of
Fedor vs Bigfoot at Strike Force, Gee

can't helped as long as I live in the 21st century
We can catch the news of
what happened in Brazil, the furtherest county
in about 5 minutes while we are at the breakfast table.


Then I viewed the video.

Everybody started talking Fedor this Fedor that
since he intimated the possibility of his retirement
post fight.

Nobody praised his opponent Bigfoot Silva nor
mentioned how exciting they fought each other.

I can't stand to hear them talking about
Fedor as an aging legend.




Reading people talk about Fedor on the Internet
reminded me of when I used to work part time
at the small bar on the Dotonbori Street in Osaka
a long time ago. I was a 20-year-old college student.

One day, two elderly men came to the bar,
and they started talking about Audrey Hepburn.

"She used to be so pretty, but she grew older
and not pretty any more. How disappointing ! "

I felt pitiful over Audrey when I heard that
because, to my eyes, they looked very old as well,
but they were shutting their eyes to their own age.




I am a huge fan of Fedor.
He is one of the reasons why
I started loving MMA like today.

I will respect whatever decision he will make.
If he retires or continues fighting,
It is nobody else but him to decide.


and Bravo for Bigfoot.



Fedor lost only twice in his long career
but everybody got upset.
that means Fedor is the greatest
and the most important fighter in the world.
