Good morning and I really appreciate your visit to English Plus blog!
Today, I'd like to introduce some Christmas messages and New year's greetings.
Christmas is just around the corner!
In Japan, sending Christmas cards is still not as popular as sending New year cards; however, when I go shopping, I can sometimes find Christmas cards.
In English speaking countries such as Canada, sending Christmas cards is as important as sending New year cards in Japan.
So, today let's learn some English expressions which can be used for Christmas & New year cards.
For instance...
・Wishing you the merriest of Christmases and a very happy New Year.
・May your Christmas me filled with lots of happiness, peace and love... and lots of presents! Merry Christmas and Happy new year!
・My letter to Santa this year asked for YOU! So don't be surprised when he comes through your window and puts you in a sack!
・We hope that this Christmas will be for you a cheerful ending to the year and a great beginning to a happy new one.
・Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful Happy New Year! May all your dreams for the coming year be fulfilled.
