Today, let's learn an English expression from English Plus' winter vacation.
This past winter, I went on a business trip to Vancouver, Honolulu, and Toronto.
I was a bit busy since I visited these three cities in about 10 days.
A lot of things happened during this trip, and today I'd like to write about public transportation in Honolulu.
Waikiki area is not so big that if we want, we can walk from one end to the other.
However, this time, I tried "The Bus" since it was my first time to visit Honolulu and I thought I could tell my experience to those who are thinking about studying in Honolulu.
I got on the bus and went to English schools and so on.
The Bus is very convenient and once you get used to it, you can go almost everywhere with The Bus.
The price is also reasonable and you can change buses within 2 hours; however, you basically need to pay in cash. (There is no change, so you must have exact cash $2.50)
Changing buses is possible but you need to get a transfer ticket on the first bus by saying "Transfer please."
If you have a chance, please try "The Bus" and go somewhere you've never been!
