Today, I'd like to answer one of the questions our students frequently ask us.
Our students ask us some questions about English study, and one of the questions we're often asked is "What should I do to increase vocabulary?"
Actually, there could be a lot of possible ways to increase vocabulary; however, I'd like to recommend this method "Let's try to learn vocabulary in a sentence." (I mean we shouldn't memorize only vocabulary.)
To do that, we can learn how to use the vocabulary too.
For instance, if you want to learn the vocabulary "souvenir", you should learn the vocabulary in a sentence, such as...
"Yesterday, my friend gave me a souvenir from her trip."
In this way, you can learn not only targeted vocabulary but also other words.
In addition, you can learn some basic grammar points, such as tenses, prepositions and so on.
After you improve your basic English skills, you can change this sentence more easily and flexibly, such as "My friend always gives me a souvenir from her trip." or "Next week, I'm going to give my friends some souvenirs from my trip." and so on.
Let's learn vocabulary little by little!
Needless to say, but "learning English every day is very important."
To increase vocabulary, we need to do self-study every day!
Let's try "Every day" and improve English skills!
