Today, let's practice some basic English for the TOEIC test part 2.
As you probably know that the TOEIC test consists of 2 sections "Listening section (Part 1-4) & Reading section (Part 5-7)" and Listening is about 45 min, plus Reading is about 75 min.
There is no break between Listening and Reading, so you have to concentrate on the test for 2 hours in a row.
The next official TOEIC test is scheduled on April 10th.
Some of you may be thinking about taking it and aiming to get a better score.
To improve your TOEIC score, the most important thing is "to prepare for the test."
So, from today, let's prepare for the TOEIC test and at the same time, let's learn some basic English skills!
Today, let's try some English training for the TOEIC Part 2.
The Part 2 is currently composed of 30 questions and you have to choose the best response to the question or statement.
About this Part 2 questions, you can do the training through daily life.
How-to-do the training is simple because what you need to do is "having a conversation in English."
To have a conversation, what you need is a partner because conversation consists of asking questions and answering them.
However, you might feel speaking English with Japanese is strange...if so, you should interpret or translate the conversation in English.
For instance, when you hear a conversation like this...
A: "それどこで買ったの？"
B: "田町で見つけた新しいお店で買ったんだ"
The situation could be in daily or business.
The point of this training is to think in English.
You don't have to make grammatically perfect sentences, but let's try to make sentences with your own vocabulary and grammar.
It will help you to improve not only your TOEIC score, but also your basic English skills.
