I read the interesting article this morning.
Akutagawa Prize-winning Japanese author Rie Kudan admitted she’d had help from ChatGPT at a press conference last month.
She said,
" around 5 percent of the book's text was taken directly from generative AI."
“ I plan to continue to profit from the use of AI, and let my creativity express itself to the fullest.”
Kudan's comments have stirred debate.
Some people welcome the use of AI as a new writing tool.
But some people question the creativity of authors using AI.
Also, there is a view that using AI is rude to other writers.
Various discussions are underway.
However according to some experts, many authors are already using AI to come up with ideas for themes or writing structures.
I guess,
It would be impossible to restrict writers from using AI.
