Accounting talent shortage is focus of new advisory group
米国公認会計士協会（AICPA）が、会計専門職の人材不足に対処する戦略を練るため、アドバイザリーグループを設けたという記事。
The AICPA has formed an advisory group of accounting stakeholders that will help to shape strategy to address the profession's talent shortage.
The National Pipeline Advisory Group（全国パイプラインアドバイザリーグループ）という名前の組織です。パイプラインというのは、石油・ガスなどのパイプラインと同じですが、人材が流れてくる経路というような意味なのでしょう（人をもの扱いしている？）。
The National Pipeline Advisory Group represents a broad spectrum of leaders in the accounting profession. The group's work on a national pipeline strategy will be informed by the use of technology, surveys, and in-person forums to solicit insights and input from diverse groups nationwide, the AICPA said in a news release.
すでに、the Pipeline Acceleration Planという計画ができているようですが、それ以上のことを検討するようです。
The National Pipeline Advisory Group is focused on developing a cohesive and agile national strategy. That strategy goes beyond the elements of the Pipeline Acceleration Plan, a set of initiatives already underway or being explored.

- Awareness: Increasing awareness about the accounting profession and promoting the benefits of a career in accounting 会計専門職に対する認知の向上

- Training and education: Providing high-quality accounting education and training opportunities 訓練・教育
- Firm culture and business models: Equipping firms with the tools to offer competitive salaries and benefits, as well as career advancement opportunities and compelling work 事務所の企業風土とビジネスモデル
- Diversity, equity, and inclusion: Attracting and retaining a broader range of talent 多様性、公正さ、包摂
- Partnering with educational institutions: Affiliating with colleges and universities to offer internships, scholarships, and other programs to attract individuals to the profession, help defray costs, and assist students in developing the skills needed to succeed as a CPA. 教育機関との協働
