これに関連する監視機関（The Professional Oversight Board ）のプレスリリースです。

いろいろと指摘はしているようですが、（少なくとも建前上は）４大会計事務所は高い品質を保っており、前回検査の勧告事項について相応の改善が見られるといっています。日本の金融庁のように「基本がまったくできていない」などとことさらに監査への信頼性を下げるような発言をしないところが会計先進国らしいところです。

Commenting on the report Sir John Bourn, Chairman of the Oversight Board said “The Big Four firms continue to produce examples of high quality work and have made reasonable progress in implementing our recommendations in the limited time available since our last report. However, there remains much to be done by all the firms. Overall, we are encouraged with the impact our work is having at the Big Four firms.”
