峠山 JA/NN-168 SOTA運用

2月21日の日曜日に長野県の南端の天龍村にある峠山 1,200m JA/NN-168へSOTA運用に行ってきた。
On Sun., Feb. 21, I went to Tougeyama 1,200m JA / NN-168 in Tenryu Vill., the southern tip of Nagano Pref., for SOTA activation.

↓道路脇から尾根に取り付く。Attach to the ridge from the road side.

この峠山はSOTA未踏峰で、まだ誰もアクティベーションしていない。
No one has activated this Tougeyama summit at SOTA yet.

と言う訳でも無いだろうが、まともな登山道は無さそうなので、道路脇から尾根つたいにピークを目指すことになる。
There seems to be no mountain trail, so we will aim for the peak from the side of the road to the ridge.

↓雪の少ない尾根筋を登る。

↑Climb the ridge with little snow.

ここは長野県でも南の端で有る事に加えて、昨日今日の4月並みの気温のせいでずいぶん雪は融けた様だ。
This is the southern tip of Nagano prefecture, and it seems that the snow has melted because the temperature like as April yesterday.

↓15分も登ると山頂らしき所に到着。

↑After climbing for 15min., arrive at a place that looks like a summit.

あちこち探してみたが、三角点を見つけられなかった。
I searched around, but couldn't find the triangulation point.

GPSで確認する限りは、このあたりがSOTAポイントの様だ。
Checking with GPS, this area seems to be a SOTA Summit.

ピークより少し南側に行った、殆ど雪のない所で設備を展開。
Prepare a shack in a place with almost no snow, at a little south of summit.

↓まずは、シャックの設営。

↑Today's shack.

予定より1時間ほど早く、14MHzでCQを開始。
CQ started at 14MHz about an hour earlier than planned.

北米、ニュージーランドから呼ばれる。
Called from North America and New Zealand.

21MHzにQSYする途中で、既に開局済みのDGT局とS2S-QSO。
S2S-QSO with DGT-san that have already opened before QSY to 21MHz.

21MHzでは、ニュージーとインドネシアから呼ばれる。
At 21MHz, it is called by New Zealand and Indonesia.

インドネシア局は、555とか577とか変わったRSTを送ってきた。
The Indonesian station has sent strange RSTs such as 555 or 577.

続いて7MHzにQSY。NDT局とS2S後にCQを出す。
Then QSY to 7MHz.　Start CQ after S2S with NDT-san.

まずまずのCONDXで、国内は6エリアを除いて全エリアとQSO。
Domestic CONDX is good, and QSO with all areas in Japan except 6 areas.

コールが途切れた所で一休み。山頂局が出て来た所でS2Sを稼ぐ。
Take a break when the call has settled down.

今日は山頂で10度を超える気温で非常に暖かい。
Today it is very warm at the summit. Temperatures over +10℃.

↓腹が減ったのでお湯を沸かしてランチ休憩。

↑I boiled water and took a lunch break.

昼食の後、取れなかった或いは取り逃がした局向けに、XYLが7MHz/SSBにでたり、私がもう一度7MHz/CWに出たりした。
After lunch, XYL CQ at 7MHz/SSB, and I CQ at 7MHz/CW for missed stations.

↓一通りコールが途切れた所で撤収開始して下山をする。

↑When the call has settled down, withdrawal and start to goes down.

下山途中で、枯れ木が斜面に一杯転がっていて、思わず躓いて正面からこけてしまう。
On the way down the mountain, a lot of dead trees are rolling on the slope, and I inadvertently stumble and fall from the front.

12kgのザックが頭の上に乗っかり、重くてなかなか立ち上がれなかった。
A 12kg zack got on my head and was heavy so hard to get up.

比較的緩い斜面だから問題ないが、気を付けて下山しないと。
There is no problem because a gentle slope, but have to be careful.

と言う事でなんとか車を止めた所まで下山。
Go down to the place where I parked the car.

合計　Total 44-QSO

今日は風もなく気温も高くて、山頂で快適な時間が過ごせた。
There was no wind and the temperature was high today, so I had a comfortable time at the summit.

冬でもこんな天気の日ばかりなら楽なんだけどなぁ、、、
Even in winter, it would be easy if the weather was just like today ...

鷲ヶ峰 JA/NN-089 SOTA運用

2月13日の土曜日に長和町にある鷲ヶ峰 1,798m JA/NN-089に登って、SOTA運用を行ってきた。
On Saturday, February 13th, I climbed Washigamine 1,798m JA/NN-089 in Nagawa-mahi for SOTA activation.


美ヶ原高原ビーナスラインが冬季は通行止めとなるが、通行止め直前の八島湿原の駐車場が登山口になる。
The Utsukushigahara Kogen Venus Line is closed in winter, but the parking lot at Yashima Marsh just before the closure is the starting point for climbing.

冬季は駐車場は半分だけ除雪されていて、車は縦列駐車で止める。
In winter, only half of the parking lot is cleared of snow.

↓今日の装備はチェーンスパイク。念の為スーパーかんじきも持ってく。

↑Today's I use chain crampons. Also bring a japanese snowshoe.

↓今朝の温度は-2℃。比較的暖かい。

↑The temperature this morning is -2 ℃. Relatively warm.

↓先ずは八島湿原の脇から登山道に入る。

↑First, enter the mountain trail from the side of Yashima Marsh.

登山道は割と踏み固められていて、時々踏み抜けるが概ねツボ足でOK。
The mountain trail is compressed, and although it sometimes goes through, but it is generally OK without a snowshoe.

↓少し登ると、八島湿原と鷲ヶ峰の分岐。

↑After climbing a little, the Yashima Marsh and Washigamine branch.

↓鹿よけのゲートがある。1マス10cmで9x9マスの金網が2段。

↑There is an animal gate.Two 9x9 wire meshes with 10 cm per square.

下側の金網が4マスしか見えないので、ここでの積雪は50cm程か。
Since the wire mesh on the lower side can only be seen in 4 squares, the snowfall here is about 50 cm.

↓ゲートを越えて、稜線を一つ目のピークを目指して登る

↑Cross the gate and climb the ridge towards the first peak.

↓途中で後ろを振り返ると、八島湿原と遠くに霧ヶ峰と蓼科山が見える。

↑Looking back on the way, I can see Yashima Marsh and Kirigamine and Mt.Tateshina in the distance.

1つ目のピークからは、比較的雪の深い稜線もある。
From the first peak, there is also a ridgeline with relatively deep snow.

スーパーかんじきを使っても良かったかも。
Maybe better to use snowshoe.

↓2つ目のピークを過ぎた所から。3つ目のピークの先に目指す鷲ヶ峰。

↑From the second peak. Washigamine that the back aims at.

その左には鉢伏山が見える。左は滑り落ちるとちょっと怖そう。
To the left of it, can see Mt.Hachibuse.
The left side looks a little scary when it slides down.

↓稜線は割と踏み固められてるが、時々太腿まで踏み抜けてしまう。

↑The ridgeline is pressed, but sometimes it goes through to the thighs.

↓山頂到着。1時間40分ほど掛かった。

↑Arrived at the summit. It took about 1 hour and 40 minutes.

やはり、雪の上だと歩きにくいので、夏場の倍くらいの時間が掛かった。
It was difficult to walk, so took about twice as long as in the summer.

↓南東には遠くに富士山が見える。

↑Mt. Fuji can be seen in the distance to the southeast.

↓北には三峰山と王ヶ頭が見える。

↑Mt. Mitsumine and Ougatou can be seen in the north.

↓山頂からの360度の風景は、こんな感じ。

↑The 360-degree landscape from the summit looks like this.

山頂はかなり風が強い。雪の上にはステーも張れない。
The summit is quite windy.

風の弱い所で、マストを縛り付ける低木のある所まで少し戻る。
I go back to where the wind is weak and there are shrubs that bind mast.

↓登山道わきの雪を踏み固めて運用場所を確保する。

↑Make an space by trampling the snow beside the mountain trail.

最初に既にオンエアしていたJNM局を見つけて先ずはS2Sゲット。
First, I found the JNM-san that was already on the air and got S2S-QSO.

次に14MHzからCQ開始。DXは台湾のみ。時間が遅いのでCONDX悪い？
Next, CQ from 14MHz. DX is BV only. Time is late so DX CONDX is bad ?

DGT局が京都のJA/KT-014からコールしてきてS2Sをゲット。
The DGT-san called from JA/KT-014 in Kyoto and got S2S-QSO.

21MHzにQSY。ニュージーの2局に加えてオーストラリアからもコール。
QSY to 21MHz. Called from VK and two ZL stations.

↓本日のシャック。

↑Today's shack.

7MHzにQSY。沖縄と島根から呼ばれる。が、それ以外に呼ばれない。
QSY to 7MHz. Called by Okinawa and Shimane. But it is not called others.

かろうじて松本市の0.3WQRP局からコールを頂く。
Called from 0.3W QRP station in Matsumoto city.

どうも近場のコンディションが悪い様で、ローカルスキップ気味。
It seems that the CONDX is bad, and it seems to be a local skip.

と強力なコール。飯綱山JA/NN-077に移動のAWE局が出て来てS2S-QSO。
A strong call from AWE-san arrived at Mt.Iizuna JA/NN-077 and get S2S.

その後呼ばれない様なので、一旦閉局。
After that, no one call me, so I will closed once.

まだ居るかとAWE局をコール。まだ聞いていた様で、SSBへQSY。
I called the AWE-san. He still listened here, then QSY to SSB.

XYLとS2S-QSOをお願いし、終了後、再度閉局した。
I asked S2S with XYL, and after S2S-QSO, the station was closed again.

暫らく休憩していたら、430SSB運用中のXYLからQSP。
After taking a break for a while, QSP from XYL who operate on 430SSB.

MXV局からもう一度7MHzのリクエスト。
Request for 7MHz again from MXV-san.

7MHzで再度CQを出すとMXV局に続き、1,3,7エリアからコールを頂く。
CQ again at 7MHz. Following the MXV-san, calls from areas 1, 3 and 7.

先ほどよりは少しCONDXが良くなった様だ。
It seems that CONDX is a little better than before.

再び呼ばれ無くなった所で、閉局。
The station was closed when it was no longer called again.

↓お湯を沸かして、お昼は暖かいカップヌードルを食べる。

↑Boil water and eat warm cup noodles for lunch.

お湯を沸かしてる内に秋田のIOT局がJA/AT-067に到着した様でS2S-QSO。
IOT-san arrived at JA/AT-067 while boiling water, so get S2S-QSO.

後はDGT局の2座目。アラートが16時なので諦めて昼ご飯の後撤収。
The rest is the second Mounten of DGT-san, but since the alert is 16:00, I gave up and withdrew after lunch.

7割がた撤収完了時点でDGT局のSPOTを見つけた時はガックリ、、
I was disappointed when I found the SPOT of the DGT-san when 70% of the withdrawals were completed ...

↓と言う事で2時前に下山を開始。

↑So I started descending before 2 o'clock.

↓今日は気温が高く、山頂でも5℃程有ったので、雪がかなり緩い。

↑Today the temp. is 5℃ at the summit, so the snow is quite loose.

行きよりも更にズボズボ沈む。下りはかんじきを使った方が良かったか？
My feet sink even more than climbing.　Should I use snowshoes ?

↑Completed the descent to the car safely.

今日は、天気も良くて気温も高く雪山と雪景色を充分楽しめた。
Today, WX was nice and the temp. was high, so I enjoyed the snowy mountains and the snowy landscape.

2021.2.13　（2/15 UP）

車山 JA/NN-076 SOTA運用

2月6日土曜日、霧ヶ峰(車山)1,925mに登りSOTA運用を行った。
On Sat., Feb. 6th, we climbed Kirigamine (Kurumayama)1,925m and activated JA/NN-076.

途中の美ヶ原高原ビーナスラインは少し凍っている所も有ったが、良く除雪されていて、特に問題なく車山肩の駐車場まで行けた。
The Venus Line on the Utsukushigahara Plateau on the way was a little frozen, but the snow was well removed and I could go to the parking lot on the shoulder of Kurumayama without any problems.

↓登山道は踏み跡も多く、堅そうなのでチェーンスパイクで登る。

↑There are many trails on the mountain trail and it seems to be hard, so climb with chain crampons.

↓登山道は、比較的踏み固められている。

↑Most mountain trails look like this.

但しトレースを外れると踏み抜いて、膝まで埋まるので要注意。
However, if you miss the trace, you will step through the snow and bury your knees, so be careful.

↓遠くには北アルプスが見える。

↑The Northern Alps can be seen in the distance.

↓南東には富士山も見える。

↑Mt. Fuji can also be seen in the southeast.

↓山頂に近づくと、杭が見えるので下よりは雪は少ない。

↑Is there little snow near the summit because can see the stakes.

↓山頂の気象レーダーが見えてきた。頂上まで後少し。

山頂は風が強くてアンテナが張れない!
At summit, since the wind is strong So the antenna cannot setting up !

↓風をしのぐため、レーダーサイトの陰に隠れる。

取り敢えずV/UHFハンディ機で、ひとまず4-QSOを確保する。
We will secure 4-QSO use the V/UHF handy.

サイト裏は少し風が弱い。釣竿ANTをXYLに持って貰い14MHzでCQ。
The back of the site is little wind, so asked XYL to hold a fishing rod ANT and start CQ from 14MHz.

普段は、PCでログ取りだが、出すのが大変なのでログは手書き。
Usually record loges by PC, today I take handwritten by strong wind.

いつものニュージー2局と、北米から呼ばれる。
Called from NA and the usual two ZL stations.

その後、いつもは21MHzに行くが、今日はすぐ7MHzにQSYする。
After that, I usually QSY to 21MHz, but today I QSY to 7MHz.

途中ANTを伸ばす作業中に、無線機ごとテーブルが吹き飛ばされた！
As I stretched the ANT, the strong wind blew the table and radio!

慌ててテーブルとKX2を拾い集める。
In a hurry, pick up the table and KX2.

KX2は雪まみれというか、運用直後であったまっているので、くっついた雪がすぐ解けて、びしょ濡れになる。
The KX2 is covered with snow, or it has just been in operation, so the attached snow melts quickly and gets soaked.

↓慌ててタオルでKX2を拭くが、内部にも少し入り込んだかも、、、

↑I hurriedly wiped the KX2 by towel, but maybe it got inside a little ...

このままKX2を使い続けると、内部が電蝕で破損の可能性がある為、これにて撤収する事に。
So, if I continue to use KX2, there is a possibility that the inside will be damaged by electrolytic corrosion, so I decided to withdraw.

本当は、7MHzCW/SSBの運用予定だったが、中止して下山する事に。
Actually, I was planning to operate 7MHz CW/SSB, but I decided to cancel it and go down the mountain.

14MHz/CW 5-QSO NA=2, ZL=2 included

合計　Total 10-QSO

↓荷物を片付けて下山開始。

↑Start descending with all my luggage.

↓降りてくると、車山肩の駐車場には車が一杯いた。

↑When I got off, the parking lot was full of cars.

↓無事に下山完了。帰りは適当に荷物を詰めたのでザックが満杯。

↑On the way back, I packed my luggage properly, so Zack was full.

今日は風が強くて、思うような運用ができなかった。
It was windy today and I couldn't operate as I expected.

この季節高い山は風が強い可能性が高いかなぁ、、、
I wonder if the high mountains this season are likely to be windy ...

八風山 JA/NN-153 SOTA運用

1月31日の日曜日に、軽井沢町の八風山 1,315mへSOTA運用に出かけた。
On Sunday, January 31st, I went to SOTA activation at Happusan 1,315m in Karuizawa Town.

前回の物見山の帰りに様子見に来たが、その時よりかなり雪が積多い。
I had come to here on the way back from Mt. Monomi, but it has been snowing a lot since last time.

↓朝7時の時点で、氷点下6度程。

↑At 7:00 am, it was about 6 degrees below freezing.

↓取り敢えずチェーンアイゼンで登る。念の為かんじきも持って行く。

↑Climb with chain crampons. I also bring a snowshoe in my zack.

↓アプローチは割と急な登り。昇る朝日を見ながら登る。

↑Approach is a little steep climb. Climb while watching the rising sun.

↓登山道は足が15cm程沈みこむ場所も。かんじきを履いた方が良いか？

↑Some places were my feet sink 15 cm. Should I wear snowshoes?

↓結局そのまま山頂に到着。山頂は30cm位雪が積もってる。

↑Arrived at the summit. Snow depth of summit is almost 30cm.

早速、準備をして運用する。
Immediately prepare radio and start activation.

既にオンエア中のDGT局を14MHzで見つけたのでコールしてS2Sゲット。
I found a DGT-san already on the air at 14MHz, so I called and got S2S.

続いて、14MHzからCQを出す。
Then, CQing from 14MHz.

いきなり、SOTAで初めてのインドネシア局からのコール。
Call from Indonesia station for the first time at activation.

DXのCONDXは良い様で、北米、ニュージーの局ともQSO。
DX CONDX is good, So QSO with North America and New Zealand.

NDT局、WMN局ともS2S-QSO。
S2S-QSO with NDT-san and WMN-san.

続いて21MHzに上がると、ニュージーの2局からコール。
Then, QSY to 21MHz, two stations in New Zealand called.

↓本日のアンテナ。右の木にはXYLの430MHz-5el八木。

↑Today's antenna. The left is for HF, right is XYL's 430MHz-5el Yagi.

7MHzにQSYする。CONDXは良い様で、6,9以外の国内全エリアとQSO。
QSY to 7MHz. CONDX is good, QSO with all areas in Japan except 6 and 9.

途中から、Jクラスタに載った様で、1時間程パイル状態となる。
From the middle, seems to be on the J-cluster, so piled-up for 1 hour.

最後は、LXU局からのS2Sで何とかパイルが途切れた所でQRT。
Last QSO was S2S with LXU-san. Then QRT so the piled-up was finished.

1時間ほど連続で無線機の前に座り続けたせいで、足先が冷たい！
I was sitting in front of the radio for an hour, so my feet got cold !

↓一通り交信を終えて、お昼は暖かいカップヌードルを頂く。

↑After finishing scheduled band, I got a warm cup noodle for lunch.

暖かい食べ物で、少し生き返る。
Warm food will bring me back to life.

昼飯の前後にも、山頂に無事辿り着いた、AWE局、DFO局、XRA局とS2S。
Before and after lunch, AWE-san, XRA-san and DFO-san arrived their summit, so I S2S-QSO with them.

↓午後1時近くなったので、機材を撤収。

↑It was almost 1 pm, so I withdrew the equipment.

14MHz/CW 13-QSO YB=2, NA=2, ZL=2 and S2S(JA)=3 included
21MHz/CW 3-QSO ZL=2 included
7MHz/CW 35-QSO S2S=4 included

合計　Total 53-QSO

↓午後2時前に下山を開始

↑Start descending before 2 pm.

途中で下りが急になったあたりで、雪で滑って、3回程尻もちをつく。
Around the steep descent on the way, I slipped down on the snow three times.

雪が深い所では、チェーンアイゼンはちょっと歩きにくいか、、、
Is chain crampons a little difficult to walk in deep snow?

↓何とか無事に登山口まで下山する。

↑Go down to the trailhead.

今回、雪の多い山は初めてだったが、何とか無事に終える事が出来た。
It was my first time to have a mountain with a lot of snow, but I was able to finish it safely.
