I went back to my parents' house in Shikoku during the Golden Week, and on April 30, I went for a SOTA activation at 616m (JA5/KA-008) on Mt. Ooasayama, where I went for radio operation when I was a student.
↓林道を車で行けるところまで行く。

8時過ぎから運用開始。
Operation started after 8:00.
21では北米からコール。
At 21, called from North America.
18では台湾から呼ばれた。
At 18, called from Taiwan.
14に降りると、国内Esが出てるようで、長野のローカル局に呼ばれた。
When I went to 14, domestic Es was opened, and called from a local station in Nagano.
７MHｚでは国内各局とＱＳＯ。
QSO with domestic stations on 7MHz.
↓今日は実家の車で来た為、釣竿を乗せ換えるのを忘れ、木の枝にアンテナを展開。
↑Since I drove my parents' car today, I forgot to change my fishing rod and deployed the antenna on a tree branch.
↓XYLはハンディ機手持ちで運用。
↑XYL was operated with a handheld.
晴れれば瀬戸内海が見渡せ、見通しが良い所。手持ちHPでも結構呼ばれてる。
The visibility is good here, so with a hand-held HP, called quite often.
↓1時間ほどで機材撤収。
↑The operation stopped after about an hour.
運用途中で雨が降ってきたので、しばらく東屋で様子見。
It started to rain during the operation, so we stayed in the pavilion for a while.
↓雨が上がったので、再びガスの中を下る。
↑When the rain stopped, we descended through the gas again.
↓家に帰り山頂方向を見る。写真の真ん中に大麻山の山頂が有るのだが、、、
↑After returning, we looked in the direction of the summit.
もう少し天気が良いと思ってたが、山頂はずっと雲の中。景色が悪くて残念。
The summit was under cloud all the way up, so I was disappointed not to be able to enjoy the view.
