7月9日の土曜日に、朝整形外科に行った後、志賀高原は山ノ内町の横手山2,307m JA/NN-045にSOTA運用に出かけた。ここ最近は渋峠から歩いて登っていたが、今回は時間が遅いので、午後からの雨も考えて、スカイレーターとリフトにによる楽々SOTA運用である。
On Saturday, July 9th, after going to the doctor in the morning, I went to Yokoteyama 2,307m JA/NN-045 in Yamanouchi-machi, Shiga Kogen for SOTA activation. Recently, I walked up from Shibutoge, but this time it's late, so considering the rain from the afternoon, it's easy SOTA by useing Skylator and lift.

↓スカイレータの後は、リフトで山頂へ。かなり急な登りのリフトである。
↑After the Skylator, take a lift to the top of the mountain.
↓リフトを降りて山頂へ向かって歩く。途中に横手山神社の鳥居が有る。
↑Get off the lift and walk towards the summit. There is a torii gate of Yokoteyama Shrine on the way.
↓山頂の標識と横手山神社到着。
↑Arrived at the sign on the mountaintop and Yokoteyama Shrine.
↓早速、無線機を準備。
↑Prepare the radio.
時刻は12時を過ぎているが、いつもの様に14MHzからCQ。関東の各局から呼ばれる。ここは群馬との県境なので関東は見通しエリアである。
The time is past 12 o'clock, but as usual, CQ from 14MHz. Called from the Kanto area. Since this is the prefectural border with Gunma, the Kanto area is a line-of-sight distance.
18MHzにQSY。Esが出ている様で、0,1,3,5,7エリア各局から呼ばれる。
QSY to 18MHz. Es is opened. Called from the 0,1,3,5,7 area.
21MHzにQSY。ここでやっとニュージーからコール。本日唯一のDXだ。
QSY to 21MHz. Call from New Zealand. It's the only DX today.
21MHzはJ-クラに載った様で、パイルアップになる。0,1,5,9から呼ばれた。
21MHz seems to be on J-cluster, so I had the pile-up. Called from 0,1,5,9 area.
パイルの合間で、XYLの2m/SSBのS2Sに割り込んでSYGさんとS2S-QSO。
In between pile-ups, interrupt the XYL 2m/SSB and S2S-QSO with SYG-san.
↓こんな感じで運用。
↑Operate like this.
XYLの方は、2mSSBで運用。今日は短時間運用なので、パイルにならない様にメインではCQを出さずに、SW3へのSPOTのみで運用。それでも、ここは関東平野が見通しなので、そこそこQSO出来た様だ。
XYL is operated on 2m/SSB. For a short time operation, she only SPOT on SW3 without issuing CQ on the main channel so it's not become a pile-UP. The Kanto plain is outlook here, so it seems that sufficient QSO was possible.
7MHzにQSY。怪しい雲が近づいてきてるので、コールが途切れた所で早々にQRT。
QSY to 7MHz. Clouds are approaching the summit, so QRT as soon as there are no more calls.
↓だいぶ雲が迫って来たので急いで撤収。
↑The clouds were approaching, so we withdrew.
↓再びスカイレーターで下る。東の空は雲が多いが西の空はそれ程でもない。
↑Go down the Skylator again. Clouds are approaching in the eastern sky.
↓スカイレータ脇にはニッコウキスゲが沢山咲いていた。
↑A lot of day lilies were in bloom beside the Skylator.
↓無事、車まで帰着。トイレを借りたお店でソフトクリームを買った。
↑Return to the car. I bought ice cream at a shop that rented a toilet.
