JA SOTA QSOパーティー

JA SOTA QSOパーティーが9月の18日日曜日に開催されたので、安曇野市のJA/NN-242長峰山933mへ移動して、SOTA運用をしてきた。
JA SOTA QSO party was held on Sunday 18th September. We went to JA/NN-242 Mt.Nagamine 933m in Azumino City and did the SOTA activation.

↓長峰山の展望台からの眺め。普段は北アルプスが良く見えるが、今日は霞んでる。

XYLを登山口に降ろして、私は車で頂上直下の駐車場まで一足先に上がる。
After dropping off XYL at the trailhead, I drive up to the parking lot just below the summit.

↓雨が降るかも予報なので、東屋の中に機材を設置。

↑It's forecast that it might rain, so we set up the equipment in the pavilion.

8時前から運用開始。
Activation started before 8:00 am.

海外からも注目されている様で、いつものニュージー、オーストラリア台湾と共に北米から4局程呼ばれた。
Since it is also attracting attention from DX, about four stations were called from North America, along with the usual New Zealand, Australia and Taiwan.

午前中にXYLの方は、V/Uと7SSBに出るがあまり呼ばれなかった。
In the morning, XYL was CQ on V/U and 7SSB, but only a few stations were called.

午前の運用を終え、お昼ご飯を食べた後、XYLは隣の光城山まで散歩に出かけた。
After morning operation and eating lunch, XYL went for a walk to Mt.Hikarujyouyama.

その間、私はSW3のSPOT情報で他の局とのS2Sを稼ぐ。
Meanwhile, I did an S2S-QSO with another station on SW3's SPOT information.

PM2時ごろにXYLが戻って来たが、なんと帰り道で熊に遭遇したそうだ。
XYL came back around 2:00 PM, but on the way back, he met a bear!!

小熊の様で、直ぐに逃げて行ったらしいが、こんな人の多い所でも出るんだな。さすが長野！
The bear immediately ran away, but bears come out even in such a crowded place. As expected of Nagano!

気を取り直して、XYLの7CWを運用。そこそこ呼ばれた。
After that, XYL operated 7CW. Called quite a bit.

PM4時近くなったので、今度はヨーロッパ狙いで、ハイバンドに出る。
It's getting close to 4 PM, so I'm going to the high band aiming for Europe.

今日は14MHzよりも上のバンドの方が開けている様だ。
Today it seems that the upper band is more open than 14MHz.

コンディションも良い様で、普段呼ばれた事のない局からも何局か呼ばれた。
Seemed to be good CONDX, so I was called by several stations that never been called.

↓辺りはすっかり暗くなってしまった。

↑By this time it was very dark.

途中で、「S2S」とEU局？が打って来る。「S2S？」と問い返すが応答がない。
On the way, the EU station keyd "S2S". I asked "S2S?", but there was no response.

どうやら、S2Sを狙えと言っている様だ。
Apparently, he's telling me to aim for S2S.

聞えるかなとEUのS2Sを探すも、この時点でハイバンドに出ているEU局はほとんど聞こえず。
I searched for EU S2S to see if I could hear it, but I could hardly hear the EU station on the high band at this time.

気が付いたのが遅かったので、このイベント向けにEUでハイパワーでAct.しているDL20SOTA局やEA2BD局のSPOTは既に終わっていた。
As I realized it too late, SPOT of DL20SOTA and EA2BD , which Act.ed with high power in EU for this event, had already ended.

もっと早くEUとのS2Sを狙えばよかった、、、、
I should have aimed for S2S with EU earlier...

今回の収穫はSOTAでは初めての北アイルランドとスコットランドかな。
At this SOTA, I was able to QSO with Northern Ireland and Scotland for the first time.

2022.9.18 (9/28 UP)

CF-SX4 キーボード交換

先日、東篭ノ塔山に登った時に、PCの０とOが効かなくてコールの入力に苦労した。帰って調べるとFn、F2、F3キー等も効かないようだ。と言う事でレッツノートCF-SX4のキーボードを自分で交換した。
The other day, when I climbed Mt. Higashigonoto, I had a hard time inputting callsigns because the 0 and O keys on my PC didn't work. It seems that the Fn, F2, F3 keys, etc. do not work when I go back and check. So I replaced the keyboard of Let's Note CF-SX4 by myself.

↓山で「0」と「O」のキーが効かなかったレッツノートCF-SX4

↑At the summit, the "0" and "O" keys on the Let's Note CF-SX4 didn't work.

↓キーボードは全面両面テープ張り。取り易くする為キーボードをドライヤーで加熱。

↑The keyboard is attached with double-sided tape. Heat the keyboard with a hair dryer to make it easier to remove.

↓軽くピンセットを端に挿し、持ち上げてからカードを差し込む。

↑Insert the tweezers into the edge, lift it up and insert the card.

今回は古いJAF会員証を端から突っ込んでキーボードを剥がしていく。
This time I stuck my old card in from the edge and peeled off the keyboard.

スペースキーの下にフレキとコネクタが有るので気を付ける事。
Be careful because there is a flexible cable and a connector under the space key.

↓剥がしたら、キーボードを手前にひっくり返し、コネクタを引き出す。

↑After peeling off, turn the keyboard over and pull out the connector.

↓コネクタを止めている両面テープを剥がす。

↑Peel off the double-sided tape that holds the connector.

↓コネクタの白いロック板をピンセットで引き出す。

↑Pull out the white lock plate of the connector with tweezers.

ロックを外せば、フレキが簡単に抜けるので、新しいキーボードに取り換える。
The flexible cable can be easily removed, so you can replace it with a new keyboard.

コネクタを止める両面テープは剥がして、新しいキーボードに再利用する。
Peel off the double-sided tape holding the connector and reuse it on the new keyboard.

↓PC側に残った両面テープは綺麗にはがして、新しく両面テープを張る。

↑Peel off the double-sided tape remaining on the PC side cleanly, and apply new double-sided tape.

↓コネクタを上手く穴に押し込めながら、キーボードを元通り取り付ける。

↑Reinstall the keyboard while pushing the connector into the hole.

これで、無事に全てのキーが動くようになった。
Now all keys work fine.

ちなみに、今回は新品のキーボード約3k円也を使用した。ヤフオク等で中古のキーボードも売っているのでそれを使うと安く上がると思うが、一旦剝がすとキーボード下のアルミ板が変形気味なのと、接点の劣化が心配なので新品を使用した。

By the way, this time I used a new keyboard about 3k yen. Used keyboards are also sold on Yahoo Auctions, etc., so I think it will be cheaper to use them, but I used a new one because I was worried that the aluminum plate under the keyboard would be deformed and the contacts would deteriorate once I peeled it off.

これで、またしばらく山でも使えそうだ。
With this, I think I can use it in the mountains for a while.

2022.9.15　（9/22 UP）

東篭ノ登山 JA/NN-051 SOTA運用

9月11日の日曜日、東御市にある東篭ノ登山2,227m JA/NN-051へSOTA運用に出かけた。今回は一人での山行＆運用である。
On Sunday, September 11th, I went to Higashigonotoyama, 2,227m JA/NN-051 in Tomi City for SOTA activation.

↓池ノ平湿原の駐車場に車を停める。

↑I parked my car in the parking lot of Ikenotaira Marsh.

手前の道路のゲートオープンは7時だが、少し早く開くので、6時過ぎにゲートに行き、登山靴に履き替えたりして待った。この日は6時20分頃のオープンだった。

The gate opens at 7:00 on the way, but it opens a little earlier, so I went to the gate after 6:00 and changed into my climbing shoes and waited. It opened at 6:20 on this day.

↓準備をして赤い矢印の登山口から登る。

↑Get ready and climb from the red arrow trailhead.

↓最初はなだらかなアップダウンの道が続く。

↑At first, the road continues gently up and down.

↓登山口近くにアザミが咲いていた。

↑Thistles were blooming near the trailhead.

↓少し登りが急になって来た。根っこが一杯出てる樹林帯は、もののけ姫に出て来そう！

↓雑草が沢山生えて、登山道に覆いかぶさる。

↓しばらく行くと今度は茶色いキノコ。

↑Also have brown mushrooms.

↓樹林帯を抜けて岩場に出た。

↑I passed through the forest zone and came out to the rocky place.

↓後ろを振り返ると良い眺め。

↓岩場になってから、急な登りが多くなった。もう少しで山頂だ。

↑After becoming rocky, there were many steep climbs. The summit is almost here.

↓山頂到着。山の北側は雲海だった。登山口から55分程。

↑Arrive at the summit. The north side of the mountain was a sea of ​​clouds.

↓早速、準備して運用開始。

↑Get ready and start activation.

14MHzでは、多少国内が開けているがDXからはコール無し。
Ctestwinにコールを入力しようとすると、数字の０とアルファベットのOが入らない！
キーボード不良か！焦りながら、後で判る様に一部だけ入力しておく。

At 14MHz, the domestic is a little open, but there is no call from DX.
When I try to enter a callsign to Ctestwin, I can't enter the number 0 and the letter O!
It's a keyboard failure.　Enter only part of it so that you can see it later.

18MHzでは、北米と台湾から呼ばれた。
21MHzでは、ニュージー、台湾、北米からのコールが有った。
７MHzはまずまずで、国内は5，6，8エリア以外とQSO出来た。

At 18MHz, it was called from North America and Taiwan.
At 21MHz, there were calls from New Zealand, Taiwan and North America.
7MHz CONDX is so so, and I was able to QSO with areas other than 5, 6, and 8 in JA.

↓一通り終えて、お昼ご飯を食べる。

↑Finish all the way and eat lunch.

↓到着時は良く晴れていたが、だんだん東からガスが迫って来た。

↑It was fine when I arrived, but gas gradually approached from the east.

いくつか他の山頂局を呼んでS2Sを稼いだ所で、撤収。
Withdrawal after earning S2S by calling several other summit stations.

↓下山開始。

↑Start descent.

↓無事に車まで帰り着く。

↑Get back to ｍy car safely.

↓地蔵峠まで戻って、アイスで一息つく。

↑Go back to Jizo Pass and take a break with ice cream.

今日は久々に一人でのアクティベーションだったが、山頂でも下りでも、少し足がガクガクしていた。最近ちょっと運動不足か、、、

Today was a solo activation. My legs were a little shaky. I haven't been getting enough exercise lately,

2022.9.11 (9/17 UP)

天魄山 JA/YM-159 SOTA運用

8月26日金曜日、XYLの実家に行く途中で山形県鶴岡市の天魄山 JA/YM-159 290mへ立ち寄りSOTA運用を行った。
On Friday, August 26th, on my way to XYL's parent's house, we stopped by JA/YM-159 Mt.Tenpaku 290m in Tsuruoka City for SOTA activation.

↓山頂から、あつみ温泉、矢筈山方向の眺め

↓山頂にはNHKの中継所が有った。ここは山頂まで舗装路で来られる。

↓早速、機材を展開して、7CWから無線開始。

↑Prepare equipment and start CQ from 7MHzCW.

この日は7MHzの国内コンディションが悪く、平日のせいか、余り呼ばれない。
XYLは、V/Uのハンディ機で3-QSO。ここからは新潟市まで届く様だ。

On this day, the JA's CONDX of 7MHz was bad, and since a weekday, only a few stations called. XYL had 3-QSO on V/U use handportable. From here it reaches Niigata City.

↓一旦私のCWを7MHzのみで止めて、XYLが7MHzSSBに出る。

↑Once my CW is stopped only 7MHz, XYL CQ on 7MHzSSB.

7/SSBもあまり呼ばれないので、7/CWにトライ。
コンディションが上がったのか、お昼休みの時間に入ったせいか、結構呼ばれた。
CWに慣れてないXYLはコールを取るのに結構苦労していた。

7/SSB is not often called, so try 7/CW.
Because JA's CONDX improved, or time for lunch break, called a lot.
XYL is not familiar with CW operation, so it's hard time to pick up callsigns.

再びオペレータチェンジして、14,18,21MHzのCWに出てみる。
しかし、時間帯も悪く、呼んでくれるのはニュージーのアンドレさんのみ。

Change the operator again and CQ at 14, 18, 21MHz/CW.
However, since DX CONDX is bad time, the only call from Mr. Andre in New Zealand.

↓あんまり呼ばれず暇なので、お昼を食べながらCQを出す。

↑There is no call, so boring, I ate lunch with calling CQ.

旅路は長いので、お昼を食べたら早々に撤収して、実家に向けて再スタートした。

The journey is long, so after eating lunch, we withdraw and started again towards her parents' house.

2022.8.26 (9/14 UP)

毛無山 JA/NN-107 SOTA運用

夏休み中の8月12日金曜日に野沢温泉村の毛無山 JA/NN-107 1,650mへ登りSOTA運用を行ってきた。
On Friday, August 12th during the summer vacation, I climbed Mt.Kenashi JA/NN-107 1,650m in Nozawa Onsen Village and activated .

↓今年も熊に出会わない様に、ゲレンデの管理道路を登る。

↑We climbed the management road of the gerende, because don't meet a bear again.

↓登る途中で、カマキリの卵？を見つけた。

↑On the way, I found a praying mantis egg.

↓道端にいくつか花が咲いていた。

↑Some flowers were blooming by the roadside.

↓マーガレットの仲間？

↑A kind of Margaret?

↓カモミール？

↑chamomile?

↓山頂の少し下にあるリフトの駅が見えて来た。

↑Can see the lift station a little below the summit.

↓ヤナギランの仲間かな？

↑willow herb？

↓後ろを振り返ると「スタカ湖」が見える。

↑Looking back, can see "Lake Staka".

↓先程のリフト駅を過ぎると山頂のリフト駅と左奥に中継塔も見える。

↑After passing the previous lift station, can see the lift station at the summite and the tower.

↓山頂のリフト駅と、後ろに中部電力の鉄塔が見える。

↑Can see the lift station at the summite and the tower of Chubu Electric Power.

丁度、8J9SKが大汝山から出ていたので、慌てて展望台に上りS2S-QSO。
8J9SK was just on the air from Mt. Onanji, so we hurried up to the observatory and S2S-QSO.

↓中継所の3Fの展望台からの眺め。少し霧が晴れて来た。

↓展望台の中で無線機の準備をする。

↑Prepare the radio in the observatory.

14MHzからCQ開始。余りDXコンディションは良くなく、国内局のみ。
CQ starts from 14MHz. The DX condition is not good, only JA stations.

18MHzにQSY。こちらはお隣の韓国から呼ばれた。軽いEsか？
QSY to 18MHz. This one was called from South Korea. Lite Es opened?

↓HFのアンテナはこんな感じ。釣竿を窓から出して設置。

↑The HF antenna looks like this. Place the fishing rod out of the window.

21MHzでは、いつものニュージーとオーストラリア局からコール。
On 21MHz, calls from the usual New Zealand and Australian stations.

7MHzの国内コンディションはまずまずで、0,6,8エリア以外は呼ばれた。
Domestic condition of 7MHz was good, so except 0,6,8 area was called.

↓外から見るとこんな感じ。釣竿先端から垂直方向にもエレメントを垂らす。

↑Looks from outside. The element is hung vertically from the fishing rod.

一通り終わった後は、他の山からのAct局をコールしてS2Sを稼ぐ。
After finishing all the way, call Activater from other summite for S2S-QSO.

↓運用が一段落した所でお昼に。今日は天気が悪く寒いのでカップ麺が美味しい。

↑Ate lunch. The weather is bad and cold today, so cup noodles are delicious.

XYLは、V/USSBで5局、FMでS2Sも4局程QSO。
XYL had 5 QSOs on V/USSB.And 4-S2S on FM.

7MHzSSBではコンディション落ちたのか3QSO。
3-QSO at 7MHzSSB. Are the conditions getting worse?

↓お昼過ぎにはXYLのCW運用を16wpmで行う。

↑In the afternoon, XYL operated CW at 16wpm.

7CWでは、少しパイル気味で信号が重なり、また早く打ってくる局もいて、なかなかCWスキマーを見ても取れない様だ。脇から、数文字分を教えて、数文字＋？で進めながらのQSO。
At 7CW were piled up a little and the signals overlapped, and some stations keied early. So she could not decode by seeing CW-Skimmer. From the side, I gave her some letters and she sent "some letters +?" then proceeded with her QSO.

なんだかんだCWで15QSO程になった。
Somehow it became about 15 QSOs on CW.

と言う事で、一通り運用したので、撤収して下山した。
After operating it all the way, we withdrew and descended the mountain.

↓無事に車まで帰り着いた。今回も熊には遭遇せずに済んだ。
