Hyper-Carnivores Brought to Life : the Survival

Assuming we somehow become able to bring iconic mammalian 'carnivores' of the past(not only true carnivorans but meat eating taxa in general) back to life and they could manage and occupy their niches in the 21st century Eastern and Southern African wilderness(only places in the world where Pleistocene level megafauna is still being preserved), then which species do you think would become the most dominant competitor or would most likely survive the longest in the future? Here they are given a second chance to do so.

But then again, even African wilderness might not be able to support such a load of mega carnivores coming back to life only to compete for limited resourses, so let's suppose for the sake of simplicity, most present day carnivores weighing more than 65 lbs(c. 30 kg) are non existent in this parallel world.

Various factors such as body mass(larger size may ultimately work against the survival), social or not, hunting styles, dispatching speed, dietary flexibility, adaptability to open or closed environments, intelligence ...etc., must be crucial for consideration.
