イスラエルに安寧の日は来るのか？
イスラエルが戦争を拡大している。経緯を観察していると、イスラエルは矛を収める気は無いようだ。ユダヤ人はバビロンの捕囚やエジプトでの奴隷生活等で辛酸を舐め、古代ローマによって国を解体され、流浪の民となり、国を持たない民族の悲哀を厭と言う程味わってきた。
そんな流れでユダヤ人の国を作ろうという運動によりイスラエルが誕生したので、国家の建設と維持には、我々の想像を絶する心情があるのだろう。
しかしながら、今のイスラエルは周囲の国や民族と融和する姿勢は見られず、完全な敵対姿勢を貫こうとしている。仮に一時的な軍事的優位を得る事が出来たとしても、とても安寧と言える日々が来る事は無いだろう。イスラエルの国内で反戦運動が拡大していないようなので、イスラエルは将来に紛争の種を貯めているようだ。
Will there ever be a day of peace in Israel?
Israel is expanding the war. Observing the situation, it seems that Israel has no intention of laying down its sword. The Jewish people have suffered hardships such as the Babylonian captivity and slavery in Egypt, their country was dismantled by ancient Rome, they became a wandering people, and they have experienced the sorrow of a nation without a country more than enough.
Israel was born out of a movement to create a Jewish state in this way, so there must be emotions involved in building and maintaining the nation that are beyond our imagination.
However, Israel today does not seem to be trying to reconcile with the surrounding countries and peoples, but is trying to maintain a completely hostile attitude. Even if Israel were to gain a temporary military advantage, it is unlikely that there will be any days of peace. Since the anti-war movement does not seem to be expanding within Israel, it seems that Israel is storing the seeds of conflict for the future.
