錦の御旗を持っていないロシア軍
日本の明治初期において、新政府軍は天皇の政府軍であることを幕府軍に示すため、軍旗として錦の御旗を掲げて進軍していった。すると、幕府軍は動揺し戦意の低下に影響したという。
古代中国の孫子は、その著書の中で戦争の勝敗の要因として軍備、兵士の数、指揮官の能力、戦術の巧拙等、様々な要因を挙げて解説しているが、その中で錦の御旗の事を述べている。
兵団において、軍旗は兵士が帰る位置を示すものであり、旗の位置は、支配権を維持している事をも意味する。旗色が良い、悪いという表現も、軍旗に兵士が心を寄せる事を言っている。別の表現をすれば、戦争の大義の象徴であるとも言える。
今回のウクライナ戦争において、ロシア軍は錦の御旗を持っていない。錦の御旗を作れないのである。したがって、ロシア軍はどうあがいても、士気を挙げることは出来ない筈である。
Russian army without the Imperial standard
In the beginning of the Meiji era in Japan, the new government army advanced with the Imperial standard as its military flag in order to show the shogunate army that it was the government army of the emperor. It is said that this upset the bakufu army and lowered their fighting spirit.
In his book, Sun Tzu of ancient China explained various factors such as armaments, the number of soldiers, the ability of the commander, the skill of the tactics, etc. as factors for victory or defeat in war. And in this book, he talks about the the Imperial standard flag.
In a corps, the flag indicates the position to which soldiers return, and the position of the flag also signifies that they maintain control. The expression that the color of the flag is good or bad also refers to the soldiers' hearts attached to the military flag. In other words, we can say that it is a symbol of the justice of war.
In this war in Ukraine, the Russian army does not have a imperial standard flag. I can't make a brocade flag. Therefore, the Russian army should not be able to raise morale no matter how hard they try.
