How to improve speaking skill

Recenty,I've been studying for TOEIC. I'm going to take a TOEIC test this month. Due to lack of vocabulary, my score of the reading section of TOEIC has not been very good.

In my high school days, I didn't study English so hard because lessons were focused excessively on reading textbooks. What I wanted was to practice speaking English at that time.

But later I realized the intensive reading of high school English textbooks would help me improve my speaking skills.

ECC junior Students who take Super Learning Plan read 30 books a year.
They listen to the CDs and read aloud many times,so they can improve thier English skills much faster than the others.
