どちらもスウェードのシューズになりますね。

それから中学生時代に刷り込まれたからかもしれません。

どちらもアイビー定番のシューズになりますので。

通っておりましたVAN SHOPの親分から、

（津保君なら、これやね！）と勧められるがままに購入しておりました。

ある日、デザートブーツを買いに訪れた際も、

（ダーティーバックスが似合うよ！）と云われましてお持ち帰りしたのを未だに覚えております。

今、考えますとデザートブーツが無かったのかもしれませんね。

確かダーティーバックスの方がお値段も高かった気がします。

ブランドは、勿論VAN REGAL。

それからというもの、ダーティーバックスを軸としました着熟しにはまっておりました。

メンズクラブなど隅から隅まで読み漁り、着熟し方を真似たものです。

よく考えますと、この頃から靴を軸としてファッションを形成していたのだなと。

そのスタンスは未だ同じですね。

そんなダーティーバックス好きの僕が、今回MAKERSで作って頂きましたのが勿論

My favorite shoes are desert boots and dirty bucks.

That stance is still the same.

靴自身の中心は英国靴みたいに中央にございますが、

アメリカ靴と英国靴のエエとこ取りをしました靴になりますね。

カリフォルニアのHERMOSA BEACH！

70年代ビートニック文化で栄えたビーチです。

僕自身も若い頃からよく訪れておりました。

30年以上昔、ビーチ前のストリートには、サーフショップやナチュラルを売りにした雑貨店から古着屋そして

カフェなどビーチ文化溢れるビーチでしたね。

其の当時、友人もHERMOSA BEACHに在住しておりまして、僕もBEST WESTERNなどに宿泊しまして

ビーチ文化を楽しんだものです。

最近は訪れておりませんが、デザイナーのHさんから提案を受けた際、懐かしさも相まってこのプリントに決定

致しました！

本来、ビーチ文化のイメージですとネイビーやナチュラルのスウェットを妄想するのですが、

HERMOSA BEACH自体が、ビートニック文化で栄えたビーチになりますので、

敢えてブラックボディー（それも下記と同じ加工に依るヴィンテージブラック）

HERMOSA BEACH in California!

This beach flourished with beatnik culture in the 1970s.

I myself have been visiting often since I was young.

More than 30 years ago, the street in front of the beach was lined with everything from surf shops and general stores selling natural products to second-hand clothing stores and more.

It was a beach full of beach culture, including cafes.

At that time, my friend was also living at HERMOSA BEACH, and I was also staying at BEST WESTERN.

I enjoyed the beach culture.

I haven't been there recently, but when I received a proposal from the designer Mrs H, I decided on this print due to the nostalgic feeling.

We did it!

Originally, when I think of beach culture, I imagine navy or natural sweatshirts,

HERMOSA BEACH itself is a beach that flourished with beatnik culture, so

Dare to have a black body (vintage black due to the same processing as below)

そしてプリントも、ホワイトのフロッキープリントでお願い致しました！

And for the print, I asked for a white flocky print!

雰囲気はこんな感じになりますね。

プリントが違いますが。

僕のイメージとしては、HERMOSA BEACH沿いの古着屋さんがオリジナルで作っているスウェットシャツって

感じになりますね。

LAの文化にはハードロックなどもありまして昔からロック文化も栄えておりましたので。

ブラックボディーのスウェットシャツやT−SHは意外とポピュラーなんです。

（ロックTなどもブラックが多いように）

秋冬に、オールブラックのCRESCENT DOWN WORKSのNBNWやヘリンボーンツィードのジャケット

それからブラックのSIERRA DESIGNSのマウンテンパーカーなどにコーディネィトされるのも素敵ですよね。

MIXTAの場合、1枚1枚にデザイナーのHさんが今感じる西海岸がプリントされているのが、素敵だと思うのです。

アメリカ西海岸も50年代から今まで文化は動き続けておりますので、其の今を切り取って風刺しているのが魅力溢れる

のだと思うのです。

今回もHさんらしさ溢れますスウェットを御紹介させて頂きますね。

メキシカン料理は、LAではメジャーな料理になっております。

（東海岸の白人などは、西海岸の英語は理解出来ない！あそこはメキシコだ！などのブラックジョークを

よく使っておりますね。）

ですからBLTにアボカドをプラスするのも判りますよね！

僕もアボカド好きなのでというかメキシコ料理好きです。

カリフォルニアらしい料理と云うか文化ですよね。

$7.99もリアルティー溢れるお値段ですよね。

まあ、今の僕達にすれば1300円くらいになりますので高価なサンドウィッチですが。

This is a shirt jacket made of D.C.White's cotton madras.

The only difference from a shirt is that it cannot be worn alone over bare skin.

We're not rock musicians, so wearing a jacket over bare skin is a little too high-end for us!
