What is needed in this society is not just a minimum wage but also an upper limit on income.
In the first place, the world's billionaires became wealthy thanks to the vast infrastructure and demand created and sustained by the 8 billion people.
If the world had a population of only 100 people, we wouldn't need Apple, Microsoft, Google, Facebook, or Amazon.
These billionaires have become wealthy because of the daily efforts of 8 billion people who are striving to live. In a sense, their immense wealth comes from the money received from those 8 billion people.
Their wealth is not something they can exclusively possess.
If the 8 billion people realize this, the world would come to an end.
Before that happens, we may need to create a new social and economic system to prevent a return to "the struggle of everyone against everyone."
However, if billionaires are replaced by AI before that happens, things could become even more complicated.
