Good morning and I really appreciate your visit to English Plus blog!
Today, let's learn an English expression from English Plus' winter vacation.
This past winter, I went on a business trip to Vancouver, Honolulu, and Toronto.
I was busy because I visited Vancouver→Honolulu→Toronto just for about 10 days.
A lot of things happened during this trip, and today I'd like to write about a coffee shop in Canada.
There are a lot of coffee shops in Canada, such as Starbucks, Second Cup, and so on.
However, a coffee shop the most frequently we encounter when we walk around Canada is probably "Tim Hortons."
It is not too much to say that Tim Hortons shops are everywhere in Canada! (Airport, downtown, suburbs, countryside, you name it.)
During this trip, when I was in Canada, I went to Tim Hortons almost every day.
When I visited Tim Hortons, I felt "I'm back in Canada" since the coffee tasted the same as when I stayed there 6 or 7 years ago.
How to order coffee at Tim Hortons was the same, so I said, "(I'll have) a medium double-double please."(Double-double means coffee with two sugar and two milk.)
If you have a chance to study English in Canada, you may probably have a chance to relax at Tim Hortons!
