Today, I'd like to write about one of some tips for those who would like to gain confidence in English conversation and their English ability.
As I wrote in this previous blog, when we start learning something new, all of us are beginners.
Although I studied English in junior high and high schools, I was a false-beginner when I first went to Canada to study English.
After finishing learning English, I became an English teacher in Japan, but I had a lot of hard time while learning English.
The first difficulty I faced was that I felt English was very difficult.
There were some reasons why English was difficult, and I clearly remember that the first three or four months were very tough for me.
From my personal learning experience, I'd like to share the last tip about gaining confidence in English conversation and ability.
The fifth advice is "You should make using English your personal habit, and enjoy using English."
To gain confidence in English, you need to "practice" English.
Practicing English is similar to training muscles, so it takes some time to get English ability.
It takes some time to master English, so the important point is that you should think English as a communication tool and enjoy learning and practicing how to use the tool.
If you continue practicing English, it will surely pay off.
Let's enjoy using English and make it your personal habit!
