Good morning and thank you very much for your time to stop by English Plus blog!
English Plus is a small language school located in Tamachi, Tokyo.
We're providing fun, student-centered, practical English lessons.
Today, I'd like to write about the LTP English Language Teaching Convention in Tokyo.
LTP stands for Language Teaching Professionals and it is an organization to support language teachers.
I am a member of ETJ, which is a free association for English teachers in Japan that encourages the exchange of information and teaching ideas.
LTP holds a convention once a year and ETJ members can join the convention.
On February 9th (Sun), it was held at Otsuma Women's University in Tokyo.
It was my first time in about 6 or 7 years since pandemic to join the convention.
A lot of English lecturers, such as authors, teachers, and English school owners, shared some good teaching technique, and tips to treat students more effectively.
Every speaker's talk is very interesting and beneficial for me.
Also, English textbook publishers displayed their textbooks I was able to see latest materials.
Since I've learned some good tips from this convention, I'm going to use some to our students.
English Plus is a small school, but we really care about our students and we try to do our best to help them improve their English skills.
