In our business, we have a chance to introduce ourselves when being transferred.
There are a lot of ways to introduce ourselves and after introduction, you can add a greeting such as "douzo yoroshiku onegaishimasu" if you want.
So, today, let's practice how to say "douzo yoroshiku onegaishimasu" when you have a chance to introduce yourself.

本日は“転勤などで自己紹介する際の挨拶に使える“どうぞよろしくお願いします”の英語表現”です。

ビジネスの中では、転勤などで自己紹介をする機会がしばしばあると思います。

英語の自己紹介では様々な言い方が可能ですが、自己紹介の際に“どうぞよろしくお願いします”を付け加えることも可能です。

英語では“どうぞよろしくお願いします”の直訳はありませんが、今日は“転勤などで自己紹介をする際の挨拶に使える“どうぞよろしくお願いします”に近い英語表現”を学んでいきたいと思います。

例えば…

・I'm really looking forward to working with you.

・I'm so excited to get to work with you.

・I'm really happy to have the chance to work with you.

・I'm happy to be here to work with you.

上記は一例ですが、日本語の“どうぞよろしくお願い致します”に近い表現になると思います。

レッスンから学ぶ“面白い～つまらない”を表現する時の英語

Today, let's learn some English.
I heard that one of our students went to an event at Tokyo Dome the other day.
The student said, "the event was exciting!"
After that the student asked me if there are any other adjectives to express "exciting" or "not exciting."
So, today let's learn some English adjectives to tell how exciting some events are.
For example, "The concert was..."
・thrilling
・exciting
・stimulating
・interesting
・okay
・dull
・boring
These adjectives might be useful in the future, so let's learn and master them now!

先日、生徒の方が東京ドームでのイベントについての話をしていました。

その生徒さんは、"the event was exciting!"とコメントしていましたが、コメント後に、他にも何か“面白い”や“つまらない”を表現する英語は何か？という質問がありました。

今日は“面白い～つまらない”を表現する時に使える英語を学んでいきたいと思います。

During a lesson at our English school the other day, some students talked about "my boom."
This "my boom" is often mistakenly used in Japan.
To talk about "my boom" correctly in English, these English phrases can be used, for instance...
・I'm interested in...
・I'm into...
・I'm addicted to...
・I'm crazy about...
If your interest is "acupuncture and moxibustion", you can say "I'm into acupuncture and moxibustio."
What are you into now?
Try to make a sentence now!

本日は“日常の間違えやすい英語 ～ マイブームを言いたい時の英語表現”です。

先日、英語学校のレッスンの中で生徒の方が“自分の中の流行＝マイブーム(my boom)”についての話をしていました。

日本において、日常的に使われているこの“マイブーム(my boom)”は、英語で言っても通じません。

英語では、my boomの代わりに以下のような表現が可能です。

・I'm interested in...

・I'm into...

・I'm addicted to...

・I'm crazy about...

上記の表現は基本的に“～に興味がある”“～にはまっている”というような感じになります。

例えば“今、鍼灸に興味がある”と言いたい場合は…

"I'm into acupuncture and moxibustion now."というような感じで使えます。

“マイブーム”について話す時のために、今から練習しておきましょう！

本日は“基礎英語の復習エクササイズ ～ 英語の主語＋動詞のトレーニング（その１）”です。

English Plusの英語学校では、基礎から英語を学べるSkill-Up（基礎英語）コースを開講中です。

Skill-Upコースでは、英語コミュニケーションに必要な基礎的な文法事項を中心に学び、練習し、身につけていきます。
