ヘビウリ（セイロンウリ）初収穫

本日、ヘビウリ（セイロンウリ、スリランカウリ、snake gourd）1本を初収穫。直径2㎝、長さ60㎝位です。


5月の連休に種蒔きをして、発芽は5月15日頃。


6月24日、背丈は２ｍほど。


7月13日、背丈は優に3mを越える。


7月13日、もじゃもじゃの花はカラスウリそのまま。長さ20㎝程のヘビウリの赤ちゃん発見。

ネジバナ

去年から我が家の庭にネジバナが咲くようになった。

去年は4，5株だったものが、今年は15株ほどに増えている。

昨日、福岡市西区の今津運動公園へ行ったら、駐車場やその脇の土手に一杯咲いていることに気付いた。去年まで全く気付かなかったのに。

前からあったのなら、我が家の庭のネジバナはこぼれ種が靴の底にくっついて、今津から我が家にやって来たのかもしれない。
