Today, let’learn some English related to rice.
Needless to say, rice is the staple food in Japan and it's very popular.
At our English Plus Cafe, we use rice flour in some of our menu items, such as "Komeko pancake" and "Komeko Chiffon cake."
Speaking of rice, one of my students told me that she went rice harvesting this past weekend.
She said it her first time but it was fun!!
So, today let's English about rice.

・rice with mixed grains
・rice flour
These words might not be necessary, but just in case, let's learn and master them now!

言うまでもありませんが、日本において“お米”はとても人気のある主食です。
English Plus Cafeのメニューの中にも、ランチのお米以外に、お米の粉を利用した“米粉パンケーキ”や“米粉シフォンケーキ”などがあります。
最近のお米に関するトピックと言いますと、英語学校に通ってくださっている生徒の方が今週末、稲刈りに行ってきたそうです。
初めての経験だったそうですが、とても楽しかったと言っていました！
そんな今日は“お米に関する色々な英語のトリビア”を紹介したいと思います。

・harvest rice （稲を刈る）
・wash rice （お米を研ぐ）
・rice polishing （精米）
