Today, I'd like to write about one of the benefits of small class size.
At English Plus, the number of students in each class is between one and four.
I can say that English Plus' class size is small.
Actually, there are a variety of class sizes to teach English, such as "one-to-one (private) class", "small number (about 4~5 students) class", "medium number (about 5~10 students) class" and "big number (about 10~25 students) class."
Each class size has its advantages and disadvantages, but the reason we have a small class size (1~4 students) is, in my opinion, "small number class" is the most effective class size to learn basic English skills (Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing) and practice communicative English.
From instructor's view, one of small number class lessons' benefits is...
"students can ask questions more easily."
During or after lessons, students can ask questions easily about lessons.
The questions can be vocabulary, grammar or something related to the lesson.
Because of one student's question, the teacher can check the other students' understanding too.

本日は“英語講師が考える少人数制のグループレッスンの良さ ～ その４．気軽にわからないところが聞ける”です。
English Plusの英語学校の１クラスの人数は１～４名となっています。
English Plusでは、１人～４人の少人数制のクラスを採用していますが、この他にもクラスのサイズには多々あります。
自分が英語講師としてレッスンを経験したクラスのサイズ（人数）としましては、“マンツーマンレッスン”、“４～５人の少人数制レッスン”、“５名～１０名前後のグループレッスン”、“１クラス１０名～２５名のグループレッスン”がありますが、クラスのサイズによって教え方は変わり、どのサイズのクラスにもそれぞれ良い点・悪い点があります。
各クラスに良い点・悪い点はありますが、その中でも、English Plusでは生徒の方の英語力アップに一番効果的な“少人数制（１名～最大４名）のクラス”を採用しています。
主な理由は“英語力（リスニング・スピーキング・リーディング・ライティング・語彙・文法・発音・基本的な挨拶）を効率よくアップできる”という点と、“英語コミュニケーション力を伸ばすためのトレーニング（聞く・話すトレーニング）に一番効果的”だと英語講師の経験を通しておすすめできるからです。
もう少し具体的に、英語講師からの視点で“少人数制のクラスの良さ”を見てみますと、その中の１つに…
“気軽にわからないところが聞ける”メリットがあります。
レッスンの間、もしくはレッスン後にレッスンについての質問を気軽にすることが可能です。
質問は語彙であったり、文法であったり、レッスンの内容や自分が日頃から疑問に思っている点などを尋ねることが可能です。
また、生徒の方が質問をすることで、講師はその質問をした生徒の方だけでなく、他の生徒の方の理解度をチェックし、必要に応じてフォローやアドバイスをすることも可能です。
