Since I got a request on this blog yesterday, I've been thinking about what book to recommend for gentlemen...and finally I've decided this one!!
The book is "It works"
(Written by R. H. Jarrett, Published by Devorss & CoHJ)
Actually, it's a very thin book. (only about 30 pages long)
Also, it's very reasonable.
However, it may be difficult if you don't read any English books or newspapers regularly.
So, I also recommend Japanese version "イット・ワークス 夢をかなえる赤い本"
This book is about self-improvement book, and hopefully, you find this book very useful and meaningful!!

いろいろと“良い本”を紹介したいのですが、今日はその中でも特に男性に（女性も）おすすめの本を一冊！

"It works"
(著者： R. H. Jarrett, 発行所 Devorss & CoHJ)

手にとっていただけるとわかるのですが、この本はとても薄いです。
（実際、約３０ページしかありません。また、値段も内容に比べ、とてもリーズナブルです。）

が、しかし、普段から英語を読んでいない方には、少し難しい英語・内容かもしれません。
そこで、英語版と同時に日本語版の“イット・ワークス 夢をかなえる赤い本”をおすすめします。

“英語力アップと同時に自己啓発ができる”とても良い一冊です！！

The book I'd like to recommend today is "Signposts for balance in love and work （邦題：恋と仕事にスグ効く英語１００" (Written by Vicki Bennett & Ian Mathieson, Published by IBC Publishing)
This book is not a novel, but contains 100 short stories.
The great points of this book are...
・Each story is only 1 page long, so it's good for busy ladies!
・The story is written in quite plain English!
・If you don't know some vocabulary, you can look it up in the word list that is at the back of the book!
I hope you enjoy continuing to read, improve your English skills, and become more positive as well!!

この“恋と仕事にスグ効く英語１００”という本は“小説”ではなく、１００個の個別のストーリーから成り立っています。

この本の良い点は・・・
・１つのストーリーは１ページでまとめられており、忙しい方にも無理なく読める長さ
・使われている英語は比較的平易で読みやすい
・もし、使われている単語がわからなくても、巻末の"Word List"ですぐにチェックすることができる
などの点です。

寒い日が続きますね のひとこと

Good morning.
Today, let's pick up an expression which we can use when it's cold.
Ok, now please imgaine the following situation.
It's in the chilly morning of an early winter day.
You are waiting for a train at the station and your Canadian co-worker is approaching you.
You just realize and want to greet.
What do you say?
Of course, you can say...
"How are you doing?"
Also, to continue the conversation, you can say...
"It's getting chilly, isn't it?"
"It's been chilly 3 days in a row."
When you have a chance to greet with English speaker (or Japanese who is willing to speak English), try this expression!!

Today, I'm planning to spend time for my English school.
Mainly, I'm going to check some shops, such as DIY store because if possible, I'd like to do what I can do by myself.
(I mean if I rent an old building, I'll change the interior by myself!)
Also, I'll have to make a class schedule and recheck the lesson fee to do the financial simulation.
Only 135 days left until April 1st.
I'll spend time wisely and do the best I can!!

駅で困った人を見かけたら 使えるひとこと

Good morning!
Today's topic I'd like to write about is not really related to business, but kind of related - "how to help the lost at a station"
Have you ever seen people who are lost at a station?
At that time, did you want to help them, but you didn't know what to say?
Well, after you master these basic phrases, you'll be able to help them without a problem!!
・Do you need any help?
・Get off at Shibuya station (and change to Tokyu-Toyoko line in the direction of Yokohama)
I guess if you master these two basic phrases, you'll be able to help people who are lost!!
Try it!!

・Get off at Shibuya station (and change to Tokyu-Toyoko line, and get off at Nakameguro station)（渋谷で降りてください。（それから、東急東横線に乗り換えて、中目黒駅で降りてください）

基本的にこの２つの表現をマスターしておけば、駅で困っている人を助けることができます！！

英語講師の留学経験 （トロントでの寒い冬の楽しみ方）

Hi, good morning!
Today's topic is "my study abroad experience - how to enjoy severe cold winter in Toronto!"

When I ask a question about the image of Canada, I hear almost everyone say "cold."
Well, that's true in a way.
(FYI: Even though Toronto is located in the most southern part of Canada, it's as cold as Hokkaido.)
However, there are a lot of ways to enjoy "cold winter in Toronto, Canada!"
One of the most popular winter activities is "ice skating!"
In Toronto, there are some outdoor ice skating places, such as in front of the City Hall and Harbourfront Center, which is next to Lake Ontario.
The admission fee is free of charge, so if you have ice skates, basically you can enjoy ice skating anytime for free!!
If you don't have ice skates, don't worry!!
There is a place for you to get ice skates nearby.
Ice skating is of course, good exerce and also a great spot for a fun date!!
If you have a chance to visit Toronto in winter, try ice skating!!

友達や周りの人に“カナダのイメージは？”と聞くと、大抵“寒そう”という答えが返ってきます。
トロントはカナダで一番南に位置していますが、それでも北海道並に寒いです。

そんな寒い冬があるトロント（カナダ）ですが、厳しい冬を楽しむ方法がたくさんあります！！

その一つが“アイススケート”です。

トロントには、入場料無料の屋外のアイススケート場が街中にあり、スケート靴を持っていれば何時間滑っても無料という場所が幾つかあります。
*上記の写真はHarbourfront Centerというオンタリオ湖に面した屋外スケート場です。

スケート靴を持っていなくても、スケート場の側には貸しスケートの場所があり、スケート靴を借りることもできますので“誰でもスケートを楽しむ”ことができます。

アイススケートは“すごく良い運動”＋“デートにおすすめの場所”なので、チャンスがあれば、トロントで是非！！

わかりやすい英語と物語で英語学習ならこの一本 Baby's Day Out

Nice Saturday morning!!
If you have no plan and you feel like watching a movie at home this weekend, why don't you try the following movie I recommend?
That's "Baby's Day Out", which is a commedy film realeased in 1994 in the U.S.
The good point about this movie is that not only is its story easy to understand but also English spoken in the movie is easy to catch!!
The baby is very cute and it's an interesting movie, so I can recommend this one to everyone!
Hope you enjoy this movie and learn English at the same time!!

Good morning!
Today, I’m going to write about “Useful Business Phrase for a business meeting in English”
