Adventure walk in Shibuya (May 19) ASC Meeting June 14
Recently, I have a feeling that there is a certain limit in my mind.
In particular, my brain is getting a bit stiff. So, I strongly wanted a change.
On a sunny afternoon in May 19, I took a walk in the city of young people.
Take a deep breathe and went inside from the front entrance of Building 109.
Mixed in with so-called Shibuya gal, climb the first floor, second floor, and third floor. Of course conversation with store clerks was not possible. Even if I wanted to ask some questions, how could I talk? Completely different world I was in. Indeed, 109 were filled with young girls. So-called "cute" clothes were displayed in each shop corner. There are no clothes for men at all.
I had a strong fear about a case that they would contempt me.
For instance, "Why did this strange uncle come in here?"
People did not look at me suspiciously. Nobody paid me any attention. Because I was in tennis outfit, and carried a piggyback. In spite of Uncle face, the whole appearances might be younger. Probably thanks to that. If I were in business suit, just float up in the wrong place entirely. I might have been kicked out of the shops being called a strange uncle.
The characteristics of as "Shibuya Girls" so-called, I noticed three points.
① a young girl, high-heeled sandals, heavy makeup, dark eye makeup especially.
② Often walking with two people, who has a long legs.
③ a fairy-like atmosphere.
Generally speaking, "Shibuya Girls" Aesthetics is the result of efforts to be "cute" by fashions and various makeup. I have enough respects, and admiration. It is joyful, and even brave. Here in Shibuya streets, there is a peace that brings happiness; I want to spread the culture of "cute" to the world. In particular, I want to introduce it to the Middle East and North Korea, where wars are continued even today.
In addition, my adventure continued. I advanced to the Parco. Inside store, there were female customers, women in 30s and 40s. Next I moved to Department store called "Marui". There was a crowd of many girls for a selling CD of Korean singer group. Mostly women's groups, I cannot understand a fever.
Moreover I visited the restaurant in the hill Spain, where I had a meal in my young days. There was an atmosphere of that time. Someday, I would come back here. Finally, Walking down toward the Shibuya Station, take the Yamanote Line. My Shibuya adventure was completed.
Well, have I refreshed?
Have my brain became a bit flexible?
"Am I able to make a change?"
At least, I could touch the culture of young people by walking around the Shibuya. My mind was very pleased. To confine myself and closed in my generation is not so good. I shall throw myself into a different environment.
A good medicine for keeping me young is to feel something in a new and different environment. I want to believe in this way.
Yes, It was a wonderful story in Shibuya.
