Fig .1 is a color art , This pastel work is a scene near my home . My father draws a paint landscape in 1953, when U.S army stayed
in The Red Cross Hospital near my home in KYOTO city, at the time , few years spent since The world war Ⅱ, U.S Troop might occupied The Red cross Hospital .
図１は、パステル画です。京都の実家下池田の風景です。私の父が１９５3年に描いたものです。アメリカ軍は、実家のちかくにある京都市東山区の日本赤十字を宿舎として使用していました。終戦からしばらくは外国兵が珍しくて、見に行きました。

I wrote Fig.2 after my father died . I remember my father told me 50 years ago , friendly U.S soldiers called on my home ,and brought curious foods and goods .Main goods were lots of salt , second are coffee beans with a coffee mill,and some carton books .This trade was done between my father and Mr.Victor. they called on my home with his friends driving by Jeep and Bike.
図２．は私が描きました。父が亡くなって、３１年になります。しかし５０年以上前に父が話してくれた事を今もよく覚えています。彼らの写真が現存しないので図１に、イメージを重ねたものを描きました。友好的なアメリカ兵達が食料や、品物を持って日本赤十字病院からから実家を訪ねてきた事です。品物は、塩の入った一斗缶や、コーヒー豆、コーヒーミル、ミッキーマウス軍曹とドナルドダックの兵卒の活躍する漫画本などでした。この取引は、父とアメリカ兵との間で決めた私的なものでした。ある日、数人のアメリカ兵達がジープとバイクでやってきた。

図３．は２００８年に、父がパステル画を描いた場所を 写生しました。すっかり景色が変わってしまった。
