あっという間に２月になりました

２月といえばバレンタインデー
ですが日本ではもう１つイベントがあります…そう節分

Setsubun is the event held to pray for our happy and healthy life.

節分といえば豆まき ➡ Bean-Throwing
It's held on February 3rd or 4th. On that day,
we throw away beans with saying "Devils out! Happiness in!"
or "Evils out, Fortune in"もOK

と…恵方巻 ➡ sushi roll eaten on the Setsubun
People eat beans as numbers as their age.
Also we eat "Ehoumaki" that is thick sushi roll.

Ehomaki should not be cut, you should eat whole it at once.
Also you should not speak while eating Ehomaki.

と…ヒイラギイワシ ➡ sardine heads and holly branches
Some people decorate their house entrances/gates with
sardine heads and holly branches.

2024年になって２週間経ち十日戎も終わりました

a festival held on January 10 honoring Ebisu, the god of wealth
ちょっと追加して ⇩
Ebisu is one of the Seven lucky gods and he is a god of prosperity.
もう少し足すと ⇩
Ebessan, Festival of Ebisu, is a very popular festival in Osaka.
Because Osaka has developed as a city of merchants.

美味しい屋台も多く楽しめます
今年行けなかった人は来年ぜひ！
