レッスンから学ぶ ～ なつかしいの英語表現

Today, let's learn some English phrases!
During English lessons at our English school, there are several English phrases that our students want to know.
One of the phrases is when they talk about some stories, such as childhood memory, music and so on.
Sometimes, in the lessons, some stories bring back some nostalgia and memories and our students want to know how to say in this case.
So, today let's learn some English phrases to express "feeling nostalgic."
For example,
"I feel nostalgic."
"It brings back some memories."
"That song brings back memories."
"That story makes me feel nostalgic."
Maybe, when you hear some stories, you feel nostalgic.
Please try to use some!

おはようございます。English Plus英語講師のarataです。

本日は“レッスンから学ぶ ～ なつかしいの英語表現”です。

英語学校でのレッスン時に、生徒の方々によく聞かれる英語表現の１つに“それ、なつかしいね！”という表現があります。

“なつかしい”は、子供の頃の話や、昔流行した音楽の話題などを話す時によく使う表現だと思います。

レッスンの中では、音楽や過去の話題などについて会話をすることがありますが、そんな時に使える“なつかしい”の英語表現を学んでいきたいと思います。

例えば…

"I feel nostalgic."

"It brings back some memories."

"That (song) brings back memories."

"That (story) makes me feel nostalgic."

会話の中で“なつかしい”と言いたい時のために、今から学んでおきましょう！
