Dali I don’t know how accurate it is, but we Americans call Emmenthal cheese “Swiss cheese.” Swiss cheese is very good with sandwiches. A popular American sandwich includes ham and Emmenthal, not Cheddar or other cheeses.

Americans LOVE cheese. They put cheese on EVERYTHING! I checked the internet and found that famous American cheeses include cream cheese (although Dali said it was not real cheese), Colby Jack cheese, and Monterey Jack cheese. The latter two cheeses are said to be similar to Cheddar cheese. Unfortunately, I have never tasted them. I would like to taste them when I have the opportunity.
