ラッフルズ像を探して歩きますが、見つからず・・・
ゾウの像は見つけました(笑）。ビクトリア・コンサートホールが改装中で幕で覆われてますがその中にあったようです。
ラッフルズ卿上陸記念の地の像は川沿いにありました。
緑の木々の遊歩道からマリーナ・ベイ方面へマリーナ・プロムナードを歩きます。
遺伝子をテーマにしたというへリックス橋を渡るとマリーナベイショッピングセンターです。
すぐそばには蓮の花をかたどったアートサイエンス・ミュージアム
ショッピングセンターのフードコートで昼食。各国の料理があって迷いますが、見た目油っぽいのはパスしたら結局日本食店のかつ丼に。
ビールを飲みたいつれあいは、フードコートにはないので、すぐ近くのショップで買ってきました。（すごい執念 笑）
１２時頃には座る席を確保するのが難しいほどの人出でした。日本人観光客も多かったです。
この日はお土産を買いに来たのですが、目につくのはブランドショップばかり・・・
とにかく広いので別のブースにはあるんだろうけど、もういいや！ とショップ内のスケートリンクと川を見て
外に出ました。
今やこのビル界隈が世界の金融市場をリードしているとか・・・
この辺りはまだまだ開発途中で、新しいビル工事や道路工事が多く、数年後には見違えるようになっているのでしょうね。
