6月になりました。
今日のタイトル「元気をもらう」とか「勇気をもらう」という言葉を使ったことはありますか？
よく見聞きするのですが、これまで自分の実感として使おうと思ったことはありませんでした。
しかし、いまタイトルを考えていて浮かんだことばがまさしく「元気をもらう」です。
昨年の5月に始めたキッズクラブでのお仕事、多くの子どもたちから1年間でたくさんのエネルギーをいただきました。
大学院に入学した原動力になっています。
校庭や体育館で子どもたちが元気よく動き回る姿は美しいです。回りの自然と一体化していました。
その姿を見て、私もまた学校へ行きたいという気持ちになりました。
皆さん、ありがとうございました。
小学校や中学校、そして高校、大学と学ぶ場がすべての子どもたちにとって居心地の良い場であって欲しいと切に願います。
5月のまとめ
長男夫婦から夫へのバースデープレゼントは羊羹でした。
夕食の準備ができてなかったので、ピザのお持ち帰りを注文、同額でプラスされるもう一枚を持たせました。（グッドアイデア！？）
ハーブのセミナーの一株から増え続けているローズゼラニウムの一鉢もお土産に
↓は母の日にホストママのBarbieに送ったメールの返信です。やはり彼女はいつでもお母さんです。

We are glad your studies seem to be going well. It sounds like a very busy schedule with work also. You may enjoy your classes more if you don't have to work too. We hope that works out well for you.
We have just returned from a week long bus trip with our group at the lake going to Charleston and to Savannah. We had a very nice time but it was quite tiring. We saw a mystery play and a musical review as well as several factory tours.
The children are coming here this weekend to celebrate papa Don's 85th birthday. We are really looking forward to having them with us. We will probably be doing a lot of eating as well as playing games.
