Allow me to say this, I don't know how to describe Mr. Michio Hamaji (浜地道雄), but I'm sure he is a fun person to be with. He just popped out after the study meeting with Dr. Otsu, Dr. Okada and other enthusiastic teachers from all over Japan, and joined us for our party at the pub.
僭越ながら、先日参加した「認知科学に基づく語彙指導研究会」大津由紀雄先生講演会後の懇親会でお目にかかった浜地道雄先生についての感想を述べさせていただくと、ご一緒して非常に楽しい方。
I believe that he loves to talk, and good at explaining the things around the world. He seemed bursting to teach.
先生は、一言でいうとおしゃべり。何かを説明するのが得意とお見受けしました。世界中のことを教えたくて堪らないという感じでした。
He asked one of the teachers, "What is the population of your hometown?" or "How much was the round trip ticket?", it's just like my host-brother, Dale.
実際、参加なさっている先生に、「人口は？旅費は？」と尋ねられたり、中東情勢も詳しく解説なさったり
Yes! He used to be a business man and now an instructor and a consultant, etc.
そうなのです。先生は元商社マンで、現在は大学講師、コンサルタントと、多方面でご活躍。
He is also a musician no wonder why his writing has a rhythm.
先生の文章はとてもリズミカル。何の不思議もないです。先生は音楽の才能もお持ちのようです。
He is definitely a gentleman.
ジェントルマンであられることに間違いありません。
I am surprised that I am referred to as ‘talkative.’
I am usually taciturn, really.
