Sanderlings are common on virtually every sandy beach in the world and this beautiful species is admired by anyone with the slightest interest in shorebirds. Yet, much is still unknown about this enigmatic species, particularly its migration routes and strategies, its feeding ecology, numbers, trends and reproductive system. This workshop intends to bring together all available information on the species, with a particular focus on the East Atlantic Flyway.
