The middle of this August, this is a special week in Japan. Usually many people go back to their hometown and remember of their ancestors. All of the relatives get together and clean graves with full of thanks to the spirits. Because of this custom, most of workers or students have rests so many people are in the city enjoying this vacation originally. But things are totally different this year. Day after day and day, we never spend a day without looking the letter or hearing the news of COVID19. We should be inside not to get and spread that. Outside, we have to wear a mask in every shop and even in streets. I’m very annoying about being heatstroke because of this heat and humidity additionally wearing masks.
The effect of COVID19 is much much more than we think. So many kinds of industry are damaged awfully. Without saying about Tourism, many people don’t know how to live the next day. Some people may unexpected that hospitals are in danger of their management. Of course, the nurse and doctors work hard to be against this condition. Actually, my brother is a doctor and he works everyday by late in the night. We should appreciate them. However, the problem isn’t only the business of health care workers. The big issue is that people start not to go hospitals. Of course, no one wants to catch the virus, so people stay in home when get a mild illness. In this situation, worker have to do hard work and can’t get enough salary. In a long sight, this would be the one of the biggest problems I think.
Education is also a damaged part. Students had no way but to stay home and lose about two months. The condition of University students is even worse, and we are not having a good “campus life” although I know teachers are doing their best. We just in our house and watch video of our class. No friends are by me and can’t easy to ask questions. The holiday became just the day of rest and can’t go outside to have a wonderful day with friends. It is commonly said that “It is not until you lose your health that you realize its value.” and I painfully noticed that. I seriously think the only one smiling in the world should be the president of Nintendo.
There is another interesting topic that is about manufacturing industry. In fact, many factories, especially in developing counties had stopped to make stuffs to avoid the virus. In the result, the sky had been clean and the ocean became blue. What a cynical story! We may have something to change in our daily life and reflect what we have done.
Anyway, we have to live the next day. We have to eat, we have to work, we have to study, we have to sleep. Just do what we can do. Not only this virus but we, human being has so many problems to solve. This time, the Virus makes many things on surface and we realized it. However, there are also a lot of problems inside. What we can do now is just train ourselves to see the essence of things. What you can do is have a great school life and study hard. Keep making effort and this experience must be yourself. Everyone is troublesome now and just the person does hard can go for the future. We are cheering you.
