本日はイギリス人の方のプライベートレッスンをしました。
彼女はご自宅に日本庭園を作ってしまうほど、日本が大好きなようです。
日本の色々なことを学んでいらして、写真を見せていただきました。
水彩画もされているようで、今回の墨絵を楽しみにしていましたと話せれていました。
用賀から砧公園までの、百人一首の説明も熱心に聞いていただき、訳も一首一首ご覧になってました。
砧公園では竹を観察し、後で描きますと言うと、写真を取られてました。
曇り空でしたが、最近の暑さに比べればと二人でよかったねと話しました。
こどもの日が近いので、運動場には鯉のぼりが飾られています。季節感満載です。
教室で竹の練習をします。
色紙に清書して、サインもしました。とても上手に描かれていますが、ご自分の出来にちょっとご不満かな？
色紙掛けに飾り、抹茶でティータイムです。
弘明寺の和菓子屋さんで購入したどら焼きとおせんべを食べて、とても楽しい時間を過ごしました。
とても意欲的な彼女に色々なことを学びました。ありがとうございます。

“This was a lovely, relaxing experience. Reiho was extremely friendly and welcoming - to be honest I got off at the wrong train stop which made me late by about 20 minutes, but Reiho was there waiting for me - i was so grateful. We walked from Yoga station to her studio - it was such a lovely walk in such a lovely area - very quiet and very beautiful. The park was amazing, with so many different trees and even though Cherry Blossoms have finished the park was still lovely. When we reached her studio she taught me how to paint bamboo - not as easy as it looks, very difficult but Reiho was very encouraging and explained everything really well. After lots of practice i did a 'proper' picture and although I will need lots of practice I was quite please with my effort, which she then put into a lovely display card-cover. Following the painting Reiho showed me the tea ceremoney and we shared tea and special cake she had bought - very nice. I would recommend this experience to anyone, it was very enjoyable and I will practice more when I get home.Thank you Reiho”
